don't fool yourself,there's bias.that is why we all congregate here.think of the after market support for both.what are you getting into?the subie aftermarket is finally starting to come alive and will probably keep growing.the montero or raider aftermarket is not much better.alot of swapable parts from other vehicles on both sides of that fence.you can get a d/r tranny in a soob.that is the beauty of these vehicles.alot of folks have rocked ea-82 wagons on the trail....are you next?

depends on the vehicle.is it an ea-82?you can do the 5 lug swap with some xt6 and legacy parts .or drill out your hubs to six lug and have infinite resources.your pretty much stuck with those options.unless you can make something else work .........i say go hunting for six lugs that have already been done.

there is a ghost article floating around about a guy that coupled a 4:11 gearbox and a forester 5th gear to an rx tranny....that is what i am talking about........

well, he said the word rockcrawler.......that pretty much states that everything under the car that can be moved ....should be moved.i don't agree with his placement,but it is a good idea to get that exhaust way up and out of harms way...(if you have the room of course,like we brat drivers do:brow: )

yeah, we'll have to go out there for some wheelin it sounds like.did you guys do the gullies?they are a great time to climb.not to hard either.i really like the mud section out there...it is an all around good park.i have only taken like a few pics out there. i would like to get some of the brat doing it's thing.

ok then, at what point does it peak if it is a percentage. or does it continue to rise?because i have gone by stand alone speed traps at twenty miles an hour on the speedo and it says 25.i have also gone by a stand alone speed trap at 60 on the speedo and it said 65 .now you tell me why that is..........hence ,my speedo is off by 5 mph.i have done this several times to prove to myself that i can guage my mph by realizing the 5mph increase with tire size.once again , please,telll me why that is.

I'd be interested in knowing how you determined that part is bad. i just took the codes..........whether or not that is actually the problem remains to be seen.especially now that the engineer got involved and is showing me that it is inside the case. your an f-in rock star , i love you man.... thanks, for the link jamie.......

not having an engine crane it can be a pain in the rump roast.the hardest part is getting the alignment when you are putting it back in.there are a million ways to do it.....just remember, by yourself it is a balancing act.....safety first.it can get hairy.

no problem with the axles......cv of olalla, in florida will do it.you just call and have them set it up how you want it set up.turbo inside and non outside or something like that....anyways you get my point.i would think that the suspension would be the hardest.oh, and i hate you.....i've wanted to find an rx complete drivetrain for a long time....

a friend of mine died a while ago.he sold me some rims that are white wagon wheels.i started painting them black.they aren't finished yet.he just said wow when i told him i was gonna put them on my roo.not in a disappointed way,but in more of a it's a cool thing to modify your car kinda thing.i just don't know if i can use them.you can have them for the price of shipping if you still need wheels.they are 15x7's.about 3.75 backspacing .you are more than welcome to them.
