check out the goodyear m+s.....i have some 185/80/13's that kick rump roast.they are an all winter radial.probably ten thousand miles on them .you could go with a 14, but even with a 4 inch lift those tires did not look bad when i drove them.they are pretty much the most aggressive 13 inch tire there is.at least for cars....i tried looking it up online, but i could not find it. they were purchased at les schwab.....if you know what that is.

mazda. whoever said that was right.i looked at a lot of rims not to long ago and the most frequent place i saw 14's was on mazdas.....usually in wagon pattern ,but some steelies and i saw one set of chrome ones at one point....

no matter what size lift you have you can figure it out real easy like....go out to your car with a tape measure, measure your "ride height".your "ride height" is the distance from your lower shock mount on center to your upper shock mount on center.then you start looking for a shock that will accomodate your ride height plus three inches.if your ride height is 16",then you will need a ride height of 19 inches when it is all said and done. if you want the vehicle to have proper travel your ride height should be in the middle of the shock's compression and extension. a shock that has 10 inches of travel does not mean it will compress 10 inches and extend 10 inches.it means that you will receive 5 inches up and 5 inches down from the center of movement.your average sube shock has like 6 inches or something like that. you need to figure out what you are trying to accomplish to get the proper set up so you don't go out and start breaking axles......trust me.

i do an average of 150 miles a week in my brat.no front sway bar and alot of it on the freeway at 60 to 70 mph.yes with just a four speed .and it works awesome for me.
-
The wheel base is 4 inches wider and 2 inches longer then a brat. More stable when lifted. what do you need that for? i am not the hardest core off roader , but i do like to go as fast as i can when i am in 4 wheel.and let me tell you it is not that easy to lose your center in one of these things.even on grades that have hardcore angles it proves difficult.so why i ask, would you want to go and do something like this?

frankie is right.super simple......a hint, if you are rebuilding it and you get frustrated , do not stop, just take a breath and continue on.that way you do not get lost in a diagram somewhere and do not have a carb anymore.(know this from experience)just be patient and rebuild it.if you have problems , let me know and i can rebuild one for you.just for your cost .i enjoy it. The kits only come with the accelerator pump, and needle/seat, and gaskets anyway. Just clean everything as good as you can, adjust the float properly, and take the carb off the car so you don't drop anything inside the engine! Now and again you can find a deal on Webers and Hitachi's on Ebay.Yesterday 10:00 PM

you guys forgot duct tape and bailing wire..... -
i live in the land of the lost......i can pretty much find just about anything up here and most of it has to do with some kind of mud.every part of town and the state for that matter has a different type of soil.i am not knocking them, they may be ideal for your conditions, but not for mine.and the price is why i was not reluctant to get them.
