I ran my frankenmotor air box to the fender, closed up the stock hole there, and cutout the bottom of the airbox.(it was built out of like 3 different intake pieces from 91 to 2000's) Would not work in snowy wheeling as well. But works out well in non water applications. LOL

I ain't skeered. It looks WAY better without the wings. Now lets see the wheels!!! cheeers

Or the biggest one on the planet. Samba.com -
I had a friend tell me once to build what I want. Best advice I ever got. I really like driving. But I enjoy fabrication more sometimes. DOwn the rabbit hole is where I belong I have been contemplating going to RUF . I have the Waggy springs up there now. I think that I will try to pick up some 3rd gen rears. Push the front forward a bit. Nice and open up there now cheers

Yeah. It very well may. But it is getting reutilized.

The original poster said he didna want any more handles .On top of the fact he has his t-case shifter in the original location. Don't get me wrong, I would just use the handles. Maybe you should post pics of your trouble area, uberoo..

Yeah, shotty building sux!! body mount cut out for the steering box... This codswallopin' monstrosity looks WAY better on the floor. LOL Way more room to work now. Looking at it with a fender cheers
-
I wanna see them on a 98 Impreza! I like them too I'm gonna make a mesh grill just to mock you LOL cheers
-
I got a good batch then. Completely quite and gave better drivability. Maybe mine were quality off the shelf scratch and dents or something . I KNOW they were not Godspeed

It is already changing .... As I sit here and look at the horrible body mounts, and uneven hacking of the frame mounts , the disfigured, not all the way welded, defunct steering box mount... and ugly azz bumper... I am thinking tube .Lots , and lots Of tube. Still maintaining fenders, and a hood . Maybe even try to squeeze a grill back in there... ha d a friend cut some stuff out on his Plasma table. He welded up a base hanger for me, and I added a 2x2x1/4" mounting surface for some Tube. Then bought some 1.75" DOM. When I get back at her, It's gonna be epic. cheers

We could probably make some mounting surface plates out of the stuff you have lying around. Then tube up some spoob yo.....Some 2" .188 wall would be sick as fawck......... Just sayin..... cheers -
It's funny, He asked me if I was about to get him stuck.Or something like that. I was like. NO, You can do it ! LOL The problem was muddy, sloping, extravagently hanous mud.I THOUGHT he could climb that bank down further. And on a normal day( it could have been done. I was not the only one saying it was crazily SLOPPY up there.... And yes.It was My fault :)For not driving  I rode with Jesse everyone.I have never been a passenger in his car.I am totally solid with how Jessie drives...but All I remember about those few moments as a passenger was... OH .shite ,Stump!lol cheers
-
I did this just to prove I do all my own stunts. And yes he did try to buck me off. LOL
-
I like stump grinding, car surfing, and short walks down steep trails. LOL I hate snow now. Thanks Rickdonkulus.

I tuned up my coffee cup. It's totally ready to handle the debauchery. I am bringing some recovery straps, ?becaus eI can feel this is gonna be one of those days......LOL

do not weld straighht to the UNIbody. The sheet meetal is not thick enough. You WILL neeed to fish plate EVERYTHING you attach. Just saying. If you are learning how to fabricate on this project , It may be better held onto for future use.Cut your teeth on something different. cheers
-
Ok, So it is progress, albeit codswalloping nerve racking at that. Please note that the tubing holding things together is not necessarily placed whee it will stay... No turning back now!!! Gotta see where she is gonna sit.ish.... Fish plating partially welded. One side almost done. T-casew ia almost lined up in it's stock position. But just a couple inches higher. Defenitely not super proud of my upside down welds, but you try it ! lol Gotta make those damn elusive motor mounts next. overall view I think thats all I have for now. cheers

There is a bunch of info out there on these OBX units.Keep looking around. cheers
