Buy another knuckle, from a yard.Make them do the work.I promise,If you have a stuck bolt.It is WAY worth it. Then just cut yours off. Sounds like a harsh reality, but man am I telling you.I am a very resourceful guy when it comes to certain things. And I had to buy a new knuckle the last time I dealt with a rusted bolt. cheers

The RX D/R is perfectly capable of going to larger tires. It is Just as robust as the D/R's.BUT, has higher Low range gears. The Regular ol' D/R is 1.59 low.The RX is 1.19low. Withe rarity of these transmissions, I would not beat it.BUT, know folks who have. And it was fine. Lower gears help more than wheel speed. And considering we havta use wheel speed anyway, lower gears are preferred. Let me say that again.Lower gears are preferred. You will grow to hate this statement through your offroad Subaru journey.(because we are limited) You can rock it if it is your only option. But honestly the D/R is still fairly prolific. And those tires are not very big. LOL cheers

Ok so,I have a partially put together axle from needing to go and pick up a set of calipers so's i can measure the shims properly. A partially tubed subframe for my motor mounts. A cut up tunnel, and nowhere to go LOL I picked up some Super bright LED lights made by a company called Arsenal lighting. from DC Customs. Also got the twin stick boot I needed. Umm, picked up a badass beer sign. A hat, and Tshirt. umm, Whatelse.... I think that is it. Also I have drivelines now. That appear to have the properly drilled holes in the flanges!Bonus Hrrmmmm, I think maybe, that I Should technically be able to get back at her in a couple of days.Between my duties as an upstanding member of this community(ROFLMAO), and the need to fulfill my husbandly duties lately time has been sparce. Damnit. But I am continuously thinking about what I can do here , or there. The planning always takes the longest..... And when your continuously planning , spoob can get longwinded Once the motor mounts are in.I think I can move forward pretty quick. Just learning almost anything Toyota right in front of my eyes is very fun. And literally almost learning everything I know about cars, I owe to this Board. I helped my Dad change oil and spoob on his Chevy's.But besides some basic time with motor heads in high school, I doona have alot of experience. I pushed forward, and moved as fast as I could to get to this point in my life. I owe it to a damn NEED I have to build spoob.I love My vehicles very much while I have them. If they are offroad vehicles, I beat them to piss. If they are onroad vehicles,I drive them Like I stole them. And If they are a leasure vehicle I usually don't own them Sorry about the rant. I think that I should pick up a set of calipers tomorrow. Cheers

Suzuki samurai u joints fit. I redid the two in my driveline with those. I will try to remember to look at the part number when I get home. I went with a spicer u joint I think. The difference in the caps was like 1mm from the Subie to Zuki... I have a video in the build thread of Stella on page ten.

They are known to sell alot of those tires on ebay.I bought 15's, but I remember seeing 14's too.

On the contrary, IF YOUR vehiclee is carb'ed, It WILL help.Every one of the cars stated was FI. I have gutted every cat I have had on carbed vehicles and noticed a difference. When you gut the cat, start looking at the Intake next.more flow out can use more flow in. Your friend is wrong , kinda. The numbers are TO high. But there are results. cheers

Being frugal has helped on the hard parts.I got a lot of stuff on sale, traded for some of it, and got some of it for gifts.I would say can't be over 1500 though......And that's with awesome rebuild parts. It has been over a matter of a couple years too. But, no idea really

Never should have used them as such.OLD tech there..... Only thing to do is put box tube inside then weld captive nuts. Then tie into top of rear diff mount. SInce it is an offroader, just bolt through the top with backing plates as well. AND learn how to recover without jerking. cheers
