WElp replced the picture up front, and here are some more. Just put the tires in front of her to see Finally got my wheels welded up Test fitting the bellhousing.I need to get anotherr Subaru hydro clutch. The one I have is from some other model i guess.Because it does nto match this bolt pattern. Wheels all painted up, I thought I would like the whiite background. But don't.Ima change it to drab.... whipped up a twin stick setup... Still working on the fluid barrier, I sat around the other night with sandpaper(300 grit-ish, and 1000 grit) and polished the inside leading edges of the twin sticks to get them to move more fluidly next to each other. Then hit them with a dremel and some rouge.. The whole layout, teting bolt sizes, looking azt length etc.... Thats about it, I think I have made a deal on My Subie EJ d/r, so I will have the scrilla to throw at this thing again soon. I need ARP studs for my knuckles, then I can put stuff together the way I want to!! cheers

So, the distance between the 82 Toyota framerails(which is the same up to 85) is 22 ish inches. The width of the EJ is about 29 inches.Hopefully my luck is with me and I can keep it high enough to stay intside of my shock mounts.Or I might have to take the ford towers out and make some Tube mounts. We'll see.I may just have to flatbelly the whole shebang.Just so the engine is high enough. cheers

W series Toyota trans adaptors
I am amost to that point.Like so close it is ridiculous.I will have family here for the next week, so I'll find out in a week or so FRom measurements it looks like I will need to relocate the ford shock towers, then flatbelly to clear the bottom of the valve covers. We shall see. It will get mounted in there.Period. Whatever I have to do to make it fit.... Cheers

Monster wagon vr2 "Monster Sedan" build thread
?Weellz? QUOTE=Subafreak;1151679]Well that was a long day. But! I got the other rear wheel well prepped, fabbed, welded, and treated! So it was a productive day. This side had a bit more intrusive rot so I had to repair it up above my wheel arch line. So it looks like I'll have to do some bondo-ing anyway. I'm gonna order this body filler from POR-15, it's supposed to work right over the POR-15 treatment so the metal underneath can stay protected and not just blow out the body filler in a year like you ussualy see with bondo jobs. Hopefully Tomorow I can get the rocker panel repair done on this side and get everything seam sealed in.

Finally got around to welding these centers in. moar weld porn The shop at work afterhours.. 1/4 inch pressed ceenters from trailwortyfab.com, into HMMWV double beadlocks with rubber runflats. Thats my wheels. Hopefully this will go smoothly,I am gonna have to try an retrofit a Subie hydro clutch to the Toyota system.Mr.Hinchers best... I have the ************in shifter rail in backwards!!DOH Otherwise theses would be tight together by now..... More to come i guess. I shall now lay it out for you: 85 Toyota shortbed frame with Ext cab, double bobbed bed Ej frankenmotor W56 5 spd 4.7:1 t-case 4.88 axles with lockright in front , v6 third out back (probably gonna weld it) trussed, built to ************ front housing.Rear needs some love, but I think I'll wait until I put my v6 rearend in there. From Stella besides the motor 02 WRX seats, cb, lights, etc.... So far so good. Need hysteer, ARP knuckle studs, add 5th stud, and possibly a new ring and pinion for the front. Otherr than that , Wire up the engine to the Yota harness, and make some engine mounts. Hopefully I have an engine to use as a mock up within a week. Then hopefully after the holidays I'll have some dough to finish throwing at her. Cheers

Lockhart Basin in a soob, new gen wheeling report from Moab
True, but when you are doing light duty stuff and still break. It sucks.Even when I DIDN"T use skinny pedal(which is almost impossible)I was breaking stuff. Mostly due to QUALITY of product. Yes they ARE cars. And I have taken them pretty far considering..... farther than most. Not as far as some. And defenitely built my own ************. I had almost 700 bucks invested in utilizing Ujoints attached to a slip joint from a hop harvester..... I still needed way more cash to run that one down..... For that price I could buy Toyota chromo fronts and rears.... Just sayin.Thay do have their place. It is just not in the woods with ME anymore:D:drunk: cheers AWESOME car Superu.I havealways liked it! Unhijack
