Spend a couple bucks on some meat , and we can Q. Just sayin.Would be rad to have some homies over. And speaking of that, If you think of others that I didna include in this first round, invite them.I am a stoner and do not remember names sometimes.... cheers

  8. I have a buddy down the road with a CNC plasma table. He is going to be cutting me a mount like the Front Range Offroad DIY mount.I will be using that once I get it this week. I should have the rest of my axle rebuild stuff by Friday, including my hub gears. Then I will be putting that stuff together. I am looking at trading the tires I have due to them being radials..... But with my twin stick almost done,I have alot of irons in the fire right now. Cheers
  9. Thats what I'm talking about!!! Thinking outside the circle! :-p very nice.Only If more people thought about how they could simplify design and utilize everyday products.
  10. It would help if you were down the road. But you're not I am gonna pick up a DIY t-case plate from a new buddy down here.Should be able to make something happen from that. cheers
  11. DOH....evidently there is one set of crossmembers from 79-82, and 83-85.Nice. Well,I guess I will be needing to build a crossmember..DOH! cheers
  12. If The bars themselves are aluminum. This is a stock unit. cheers
  13. I got the t case lined up,the4n realized the crosmember I got for my 85 frame, didna line up with an 82?ish frame.... So , gotta remedy that.... And then remedy the front shock towers. The preliminary numbers state tthat the ford Towers are not going to work in this sitcheachin. So , gotta deal with that... Then we shall see what comes a knockin... \cheeres
  14. All mounted up . She is sitting on her own Two feet again in the back cheers
  15. ebay cheapies... I have some that have stayed quiet through alot of abuse. cheers
  16. I looked just slightly earlier than you posted. It is literally from 2.5 5 speeds. from like 97 to whenever that generation ends. Got athe proper Slave, and mounted it up the trans to make sure it fit. Then checked the fitting to the Toyota master cylinder.. Cheers:drunk:
  17. WElp replced the picture up front, and here are some more. Just put the tires in front of her to see Finally got my wheels welded up Test fitting the bellhousing.I need to get anotherr Subaru hydro clutch. The one I have is from some other model i guess.Because it does nto match this bolt pattern. Wheels all painted up, I thought I would like the whiite background. But don't.Ima change it to drab.... whipped up a twin stick setup... Still working on the fluid barrier, I sat around the other night with sandpaper(300 grit-ish, and 1000 grit) and polished the inside leading edges of the twin sticks to get them to move more fluidly next to each other. Then hit them with a dremel and some rouge.. The whole layout, teting bolt sizes, looking azt length etc.... Thats about it, I think I have made a deal on My Subie EJ d/r, so I will have the scrilla to throw at this thing again soon. I need ARP studs for my knuckles, then I can put stuff together the way I want to!! cheers
  18. Incidently, That looks like about 16 guage. cheers
  19. Fair enough.I feel differently about it all the time.... But I would never leave you guys out
  20. So, the distance between the 82 Toyota framerails(which is the same up to 85) is 22 ish inches. The width of the EJ is about 29 inches.Hopefully my luck is with me and I can keep it high enough to stay intside of my shock mounts.Or I might have to take the ford towers out and make some Tube mounts. We'll see.I may just have to flatbelly the whole shebang.Just so the engine is high enough. cheers
  21. I will absolutely post pics.I probably won't make a build thread here As this is a Subaru board.
  22. I am amost to that point.Like so close it is ridiculous.I will have family here for the next week, so I'll find out in a week or so FRom measurements it looks like I will need to relocate the ford shock towers, then flatbelly to clear the bottom of the valve covers. We shall see. It will get mounted in there.Period. Whatever I have to do to make it fit.... Cheers
  23. I have mine going into MY toyota rock crawler RIght rump roast we speak!!!! Just a teaser!!
