  1. Finally took a minute to do some work. Thanks to Gloyale i realized i could still fabricate the single port header on a Dual port head, thanks to the indexing bolt. And Thanks to Northcoast I got some flanges shortly after that revelation. got this shitbox thrown together. I might even run it! I would like to see it go to an exhaust shop and be made into a header. We'll see if it leaks.LOL I ran out of regular wire, and so I threw some FLUXcore in the machine. I do not miss using it .lol It is pretty ugly, but pretty sure it will work just fine till i decide to pony up for better pieces. cheers
  2. the vehicle will need the keys in the ignition, and steering wheel lock disabled, AT LEAST. running in the "N" position on the t-case portion handle can be touchy. I would only suggest it if you have done it before and know the ins and outs of it. I just remember a friend trying to do it to a wagon, and the stress from trying to make a turn broke the brackets loose and it wrecked his car. I honestly don't know how he had the steering wheel setup. if this is just to take somewhere for to work on it, I would just rent a tow dolly and put it in neutral on both shifters. cheers
  3. Fawk that. I want more back history. I ain't giving out secrets to potential car thievery. cheers
  4. Dirtfish rally school has 3 rally-cross prepped BRZ,s. It was awesome seeing them at the Redbull GRC last weekend. cheers
  5. It is sitting in the garage.lol I have less time as the summer goes on and fall shows up. I should be getting back at her after Elk season. Cheers
  6. Don't even attempt to try and build something. Just buy a Subaru GL and take some weight off of it. And read around more. There are some hack jobs out there, but an older member of the board made a rhino, as well. I would search google if i were you. It will net way more information .
  7. Using the lower angle Outback trailing arm bracket is what most folks do to compensate for the adverse angle caused by using a longer strut.( If thats what you meant) NOrthcoast was basically stating that. Having a block there makes it very easy to get caught up. And using a longer strut is what I did with Stella, in conjunction with some smaller style blocks. And just FYI, once you find your weakness', it is very possible you come out with a better way to do anything.Keep laying underneath the car and staring at it. It only helps. lol cheers
  8. buy a set of 27w LED lights off of the Bay of E and install those. Cleaner light and brighter .Don't ever do factory stuff like that. The price does not make it worth it. cheers
  9. I think people are mistaking taking both up and down and adding them. It is a Total number. SO, when you add lift, depending on where you do it, it changes the up travel , and droop of said complete suspension travel. So when you need full range of motion it is set where you want it to be. Most successful systems for Subaru I have found have remained in the stock travel limitations with uptravel being slightly less than droop. That also depends on the vehicle(EA, or EJ). Just sayin.. cheers

    new project

Are you trying to make an opening hatch? cheers
  11. I made the most biggest stoner move evar! I ordered the wrong exhaust. I have single port heads on my Frankenmotor. ( which is the end all be all motor.)And duals on the 1.8 sitting in there for placement. Not thinking.Comtemplating a lot about exhaust . AND straight up dropped the ball!lolDOH. Thats what lengthy projects do to you I guess. I NEED the exhaust done to run the radiator lines. SO yeah, I bought a couple more tools to keep this rolling better. hope to be ordering the stainless pieces I need for to finish the exhaust by the end of this weekend. I have to cash, and tool up sometimes. cheers

trust me, if I really wanted to talk shitt I would. Besides, with your comment to his (Adventuresubaru)statements being so kind, I thought it was that kind of party. Fact is, if you had better welds, tha would not have happened. Hence not really carnage. Because I too have had shitty welds, and have but only pARTIALLY removed a bumper from my mistake. I would like to believe I learned from that mistake.I was Getting pulled out at like show #8.Hood River, Oregon. Same show Kens Daughter Jamie roasted something on his car and he had to bail to get a trailer. just saying. SLIGHTLY CRITICIZING YOUR WORK IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE YOU BETTER.wether you like it or not.LOL CHEERS, or not.

No, He is saying that you should learn how to weld.LOL
  14. THE DISTRIBUTOR IS FROM AN ESCORT OR EXP as far as I know. Those are the distys I worked with. NOT TAURUS. Same top unit, different shaft. A whole bunch of research went into this already. Don't try to reinvent the wheel here. A lot of time went into figuring this out . LOL It is not a "Grommet" that is removed. It is a block off plate. It doesnt seem you have the proper answers to the questions. I am going to try an get the official thread thing going again. there is too much mystery surrounding this. cheers
  15. Yep, Sherky. Taking care of your family is one thing, but when you continuously cheat people for a few bucks to do it, thats a whole other talk show. I think that watching all of this unfold is a travesty. He could just not cheat people and do the right thing. But I think his character is just that. Cheater. Hopefully he is a loving father and not just a scamming piece of spoob. Cheers
  16. So, when we made it way muddier we spent half the day , if not more, dragging people out. LOL It is probably the weirdest science out there. Barring any type of space science for obvious reasons. I was the guy in the orange shirt and white sunglasses. Hopefully I was nice enough to you, that you didna need an apology.lol , kinda known for that. But these folks Know I am a solid cat that will be there for them for as long as I can, Besides my retarded nature.. This is a serious word that many take offensive. Sorry. lol Just hope you had fun. And I have no problem letting people help to wet things down as I am sure no one else does either! lol The real heroes are people that don't even frequent these forums. They are friends. People that come to have fun. Because they can work as a second nature. because they care.. I literally had to walk away when Danny talked about Ed. I am kinda choked up about it to this moment. However. back to the people that usually make things happen. What about the booth? The folks that sit up there an do a job of dealing with"this" and "that".Heroes as well. They made it so we c an see and experience some badass times. Piss on anyone that has anything negative to say. Wait, that sounded very brash. Which I am. However, not meant to brash to you, and or anyone in particular. I would annihilate anyone who opposes them. The volunteers that help park, the folks all around anything having to do with the show. AMAZing, I tried aMAZEballs out this weekend. DIdna like it. Sticking with the vernacular I showed up with. AMAZING>other shows. There is a true community forming. There are always rump roast holes. I am paying my penance by working this show. I LOVE it. it shows my progress. lol I had some learning moments, made some apologies, and maintained myself. Pretty dam god good weekend. If I do say so myself. cheers

  18. Yeah , I just don't care man. You think I am a wongleflute. I get that . SO what. It is not going to change me. I am me. cheers.Seriously.

    Bajabaru

Even if that left eye isna designed for an air inlet , it should be left blank. Daddy likeee..lolExcept I would have cut the fenders out and made stock-ish size arms.LOL I will predict that this build will be fun as hell to jump. When are you tuning shocks? cheers
