  7. this convo is old.i would search around a bit.there are plenty of things to do to add power. the aircraft guys are mostly taking steps to ej there rigs now too.Ken built a 150 hp ea81.it is doable.but , regardless......the 32/36 can be jetted up quite a bit. all or most of it is in the weber thread.with alot of different links.that is why i stated it earlier....cheers, brian

  18. finding a new one will prove very tricky. i tried a few years back through summit motor sports, and a few others.just wouldna fit..... a good used unit can last a while.so don't rule that out....you might also look into cleaning the one you have up, and seeing if it performs any better.......
  19. a rag joint is a disc of fabric and rubber that is used between some of the non-power steering shafts and the rack..... a universal joint is at the top of that section, attaching to the shaft , and steering column shaft ..... which part is bad?cheers, brian
  20. depending on the bolt, you can drill through from the top, put a socket on it and tap away......... but technically , he is right...bad idear.however, when i did not know better, i did this several times without drilling a hole (with a hole saw)above, and was able to clean them out pretty well....... cheers, brian
