  4. look sweetheart....when you meet me, you say whatever you want to my face.until then, have some ************ing respect, and drop the name calling. oh, and since high school was like, 2 or 3 yrs ago for you.you get a small reprieve. oh, and you should bevel.its like flossing.just good to do.cheers, brain
  5. your talkin to people that have been wheeling these cars since you were still in junior high ....... and doing your wheels is fine. i had redrilled rims on the front of the brat and 6 lug hubs on the back as a comparison.i ran them both with no issues.and i can tell you the amount of beer i had when drilling those front rims was not conducive to straight holes.....and even after a botched bevel job....it never shook, shimmied , or shantied ....more experience helps when giving advice . i beat the ************ out of that brat and never had an issue with either. if you can afford to do your hubs, sure , you get more options.but seeing as how you did not drill your own hubs, i would say that your opinion goes into the "well, i could pay for it , so i did it " column. might wanna think about giving advice on things you actually know about. cheers, brain
  6. i can count myself in ......SPOKANE , warshington, also known as spocaine, spo-vegas, spoka-loo, etc.....the town of masde up names ***************es!..........cheers, brain

  8. i'm comin, i hope i have a car to wheel!i may have to borrow one jeff!
  9. the bevels center themselves........
  10. yes.....and ...no...but it is pretty straightforward.take a hub and knockout two opposing studs.mount your hub to the wheel.mark your empty holes on the wheel by using a transfer punch to relocate the holes to the wheels. it helps if you put the hub on the face side of the wheel ,instead of its usual orientation. drill to whatever size the other holes on the wheel are.the bevel is done with a beveling bit it is not that difficult, a large half inch drill can be used just as easy as a drillpress.of course that will probably not be wise if you are not used to utilizing torquey tools...... slow and steady wins the race.use some tapping and drilling fluid. cheers, brain
  11. gorilla tape>uberoo's mouth..............
  12. ok, bent and notched SOME tube this weekend.nto as much as i would have liked though...... some concept pics....these pieces will be fitted and mounted....but the pics are from planning stages.... cheers, brian
  13. .01 difference in gearing is a common thing that happened on a lot of factory vehicles.no need for different sized tires with that little of a difference scott...cheers, brian
  14. correct, regardless....FOA has a good offering in that design. you can get it n a 12"..and that is on the cheaper end of things relative to size..... i have read good things about them.and you cannot beat the price in comparison to the competitors...... cheers, brain
  15. word on the street is that 10% is an ok difference. so, 1% is definitely ok...... there are several posts about it at NW-WHEELERS...........thats where i get almost all of my hardcore info:grin:, and pirate4x4 of course. but there are a couple of guys running more than 1%..........and say that it is fine.... cheers, brian
  16. technically, i do not think that is a strut ......pretty sure it is a coilover shock, with a secondary dampening shock... you can get air shocks that are coilovers to do both jobs for you. and regardless, you will not be able to use the travel they have to the fullest extent.you will be limited to the travel your axles can take...... but cool is cool.....car looks awesome.i love the clutch.cheers, brian
  17. GET SOME!damn you ugly.........:grin:cheers, brian
  18. if you want to feel welcome, it would behoove you to go back and re-iterate your statement.cheers, brian

  20. there is usually a couple of kids around.cheers, brian
  21. change your search tactics.simplify your terminology.and just go through old posts. there is a ton of information.if a different person came up to you every other day and asked how to build a model T what would your responses be? come to the WCSS.or the NWWO/OFFROO'd meet in june.cheers, brian
  22. if it was interesting to read, i might have.......i was going off of what HE said himself....... i could give a ************ less about it accept that it is wasted space if it is NOT his offroader.this space on the board gets more wasted posts than any other.....so sorry if i don't care about the ************ing car.or what he said.or care about you swinging on his jock....cheers or not, brian
  23. yep thats right. i mistyped.but seeing it referred to as a body lift sent out a red flag.and my fingers made haste to reinforce the fact that it should not be done.. the point was to make him look ************ up......
  24. actually, nissan/nismo does not have proper part numbers anymore.they come up under ARB's catalog sometimes, but the numbers are no longer produced. so as far as a locker goes, it is r200 and above.and that was the last time i checked, like a yr or so ago...... i also want to go to an auto-matic.....thats defenitely something i want to have eventually.sa powerglide....cheers, brian
