i actually did some measuring for this.i figured if i made a subframe to all of the regular suspension mounting points and made the center section a combo transfer case/link mounting area it would work out better. as opposed to try and weld the center mounting area directly to the body. anyways.awesome,am looking forward to seeing how it comes out. eventually i will actually follow through with this one. i only started it 2 times already.got closer the second time.cheers, brian

some type of wax /cleaner product that does both. i believe turtle wax would work.......or any number of mothers products.cheers, brian -

yeah it is.......but that took two years of searching and fanagling to get done.well, to find the right pieces anyway.the front is a stock gen 2 roll bar and the rear section was a gen 1 roll bar modified.the basket was something i threw together right before the show a couple of years ago. i was selling the roll bar a while back and had to cut (just the slip fitting,it was two pieces anyway)it to ship it, and just backed out of the deal because i did not want to sell it like that, but i still have the whole setup sitting up hee getting nothing done with it.cheers, brian

more apt to find a fabricator locally, as steel is very heavy to ship(duh). the offroad forum is a more likely place for this thread honestly,as those folks are more into the aftermarket bumper.cheers, brian -

with a 4 inch lift at full extension front and back it does work when they are freed from the retainers.but, it does stretch and eventually start to crack if you are driving about with an abusive nature. as far as inspection goes,i dunno about your rules over there.......cheers, brian

thats not cosmolene...... and your best bet is an engine degreaser by "gunk".it smells like oranges but will eat your face off if you let it.highly toxic really, but i bet it does the job. do it outside, preferably away from grass, and water sources. did you figure out anything on the dual's yet?cheers, brian
