havent noticed anything like that but ill go swap um all and let ya know. they are maybe a year old -
87' loyale turbo. wagon auto all pwr options. ok pissin me off. At take off from a stop or really low idle the car just wants to spit and sputter and not rack up the rpms. buttttttt once it kinda gets going for a bit it revs up normal and feels(i think) normal. my guess is the turbo, i believe it may be having trouble getting oil(possibly for a long tume now). i dont have evidence of the turbo not getting oil circulated its just kinda a hunch. other guesses idk something to do with injectors. this is beyond my skill level i can really only switch out easy parts. any ideas? or things i can do as a next step of investigation? thank you ya'll help is always appreciated

ok so you like running turbo-cat-glasspack-pipe. isnt a glass pack like a cherrybomb? -
Hey does anyone have experience with opening up the exhaust on an ea82t??? I have a 87 gl-10 auto turbo and I damaged the exhaust so it's gotta be redone. Would a straight pipe work? Or even just ditch the cat? I haven't decided what I'm gunna do I wanted to hear from you guys. I was thinkin maybe cut out the cat and upgrade the muffler. Thanks for your time, much much appreciated.

Hey maybe someone else has come across a similar oil leak. Red arrow points to the highest point I could trace the leak to. First guess I have is that it is coming from the oil pan seal. 87 gl-10 turbo auto

How much do you want for it?. I'm in Lebanon.

anyone know a good way to get my hands on another turbo for a gl-10. kinda hard to find in the scrap yards. i figured some of our oregon members might know a good place to look.

this may be really obvious but i just wanted to know for sure. ea82 camtowers(everything in um) and put them onto an ea82T. they seem the same to me i just wondered if the lobes might be different or something, or the ditsy.

i know how to do the timing belt. but when i took it apart it was running good right where it is. -
im looking for advice on timing my 87 gl-10 turbo wagon auto. I took it apart to replace cracked heads on both sides, and it ran perfectly as far as timing goes. Before I took it apart i noticed it wasn't timed exactly right so i marked everything with a paint pen and I put it back together according to my paint marks. I did it in a way that i never had to remove my distributor from the cam tower and the camshafts never had to come out. So there isn't a whole lot of ways i could have messed it up. It runs rough with a sputter and knocking. In park it almost runs normal at idle and revved up over 2k it sounds to be running perfect. butttttt.... when u shift into gear it really has a hard time and cannot really get up to speed. any ideas maybe there is something im not looking at or maybe i should correct the timing? by not timed right i mainly mean the flywheel marks. both cams appear to be right on the money and the ditsy is as it was before taking it apart but the flywheel mark is off by about 1 inch. um my paint mark is 1 inch to the driver side and the flywheel marks are to the pass side.

When you say engine temp sensor the only part i can think of is the ECT which i think is attached to my thermostat housing. I appreciate the help by the way. and i wanted to add the car didnt run long enough to really get up to temp. 5 minutes tops and i tried turning it over again earlier and it did not work. Starter turns with no fire. I mean to me it sounds like no spark but it had just started so i ruled that out. And i can smell a little gas so its pumping fuel in.
