  1. Well shr started.up.after the.instal. Thank.you for the intel. General disorder i would.lile to.grong it to your.shop so.you.could look.her.over. .....thanks
  2. Update. Took care of the relay, wasnt that. The pump isnt getting power. I had someone start her and i didnt hear it turn on. Got the pump today so im going to switch it out tomorrow when i have time. If that doesnt solve the problem what could it be?
  3. If this doesnt work.ill bring it out there. Towing is just a hassle , ha Even if i get her running id still like to get you to look at her and tell me what im sitting on.
  4. Okay so its with the mother fuses. I thought it may be under the dash. The help is appreciated!!!
  5. Hey, would you know what fuse it is. I searched on line but only found info on off topic wiring problems. Thanks for the help!!
  6. The previous owner turboed her. Im going to check all the fuses when im off work tonight. I went ahead and ordered a new pump. Shes at 150000 miles so it cant hurt to change it.
  7. I'm looking for a little help here, hope to find it. I have a 97 impreza and she was running rich. I went to accelerate then she completely died! Im thinking o2 sensors. The other strange thing is i went to check and the fuel pump and it isn't turning on. I'm running a scan Friday so i wont no codes until then.
  8. No point in rebuilding a 2.2 - it's not economically viable, and if your bottom end is good then there's really no point in not welding the key in place. What is stopping you from fixing it? Welding the key in place doesn't prevent dissasembly of the engine in any way - the oil pump drive is larger than the key/shaft combination and removal of the crank involves splitting the case so there's no drawback to welding it.

  9. Actually I'm at a stand still right now.I'm not wanting to weld the key in so I'm looking for a new lower block .when I first got the car I was planing for a rebuild anyways so go fish right, lol.do you have or now where to pick up a 2.2 ower.the help is very appriciated .thanks rick

  10. I have a set from an aircraft guy I know that have the equivelent of 5,000 miles on them since a full rebuild and look excellent. He upgraded to a more powerful engine....Shouldn't need anything done to them. I can surface them for you as well so they will be ready to bolt-on. I'll sell them for $150 for the set.

  11. How much would they be threw you? I'm going to do some research and find a price to get them rebuilt possible. Thanks for all the help rick!

  12. I probably have some heads, yes. They would be 2.2 heads but they are interchangleable with the 1.8. What's wrong with the heads you have? Usually pretty cost-effective to rebuild them.

  13. Hello

We talked on another forum.I was wondering if you have left and right cylinder heads for a 1.8 l 95 impreza?

  14. I gave him a call earlier today, he gave me a great advice on what parts I need and where to purchase them. If I wasn't working on this myself I would take it to home without a second thought!!!
