Hi guys. Ive bought a 3.7 lsd from an xt turbo to put in my l series . I am going to do the swap over at the weekend. From looking at the 3.7 diff this evening, ive noticed the bolt holding the stub axle has an odd shape head. is a special socket required for these?

Hi, Could I cut the Honda springs to work with the Toyota shocks for the rear of my1986 4wd Subaru? if so, how much do you think I would need to cut off to keep standard height? Thanks.

My l series is the 4wd with hi and lo range. I haven't bought a donor ej20 box yet. {The donor legacy I have is an auto} I can get a 99 impreza dr box worth the money. Is it a big deal to modify the ring gear? I just want to keep all the functions of my l series gearbox, but just use the ej20 casing?

Hi guys. Im putting an ej20 in my 1986 l series, and would like to build the front ej20 casing onto my ea82 transmission. Has anyone got any pics of this procedure, or know of a good writeup? Thanks

My estate l series is 1986. The saloon is 1991. The car in England is far south, which leaves it hard for me to get collected. I am waiting to see if I can find another closer.

I have came accross a 4wd estate in England, so hopefully that works out. That dual range transmission you mentioned, what car did that come in over here?

Hi guys. I have a 1.6 dl l series saloon that I would love to convert to 4wd.The problem is getting a 4wd l series for parts, they really dont exist over here any more. I have a 1.8 gl 4wd estate, which is one of eight left on the roads in the uk, so parts are scarce. My question is, would the drivetrain from any other subaru bolt up to the car? The engine will also be changed to a ej20 or ej22. I have heard of a 2.2 legacy 4wd that is laid up in my area, but havent approached the guy yet, as he is a bit of a hoarder. I will buy the saloon anyways and see how things go. panels and interior are very clean, so I cant go wrong. It has the same interior as my 4wd wagon, but has electric windows, so will change those over. Thanks .

Hi guys, I drive a 1986 1.8 gl 4wd wagon with the ea82. I have came accross a saloon l series 1.6 gl 2wd which has power steering. Would the power steering components swap onto my car? Sorry if this has been asked before, but I cant find any info. Thanks.
