  1. yup all the hardware appears to be there, the quality of the kit is top notch for sure! its a 2" drop for a 2" lift
  2. Anybody have any pics or instructions on installing the BOSS drop kit on an EA82? I've got quite a few pieces and I'd rather not start tearing stuff apart without a gameplan. I appreciate it!
  3. I have the same extinguisher rolling around in my subie haha, I need to get around to mounting it. Keep up the good work, it looks great man!
  4. herb

    Datsaru

    that actually looks pretty decent.
  5. My thoughts exactly, I would pay good money for a setup like this...
  6. looks like you've got yourself a good platform, and you're off to a good start! I like that shift knob. good luck, and keep up the good work.
  7. You're in my neck of the woods, I'll keep an eye out.
  8. thats so damn clean... I'd take the rack off.
  9. that's curious, why would the hub redrill cause this? sorry if it seems like a silly question, but I'm looking into the 6lug redrill myself and weighing the pros/cons very carefully considering it's my daily driver.
  10. keep us posted, you can definitely count me in for one or two!
  11. Yeah, I was thinking riveted directly to the quarter panel, kinda like this I'm just in hobart, so if thats a project you're interested in taking on, I'd be happy to be the ea82 guinea-pig. My fabrication skills are limited, but I'm halfway mechanically inclined and familiar with enough to make myself useful. I know trail-armor sells well within every other 4x4 community, so I was surprised when I found no one offered any for subies. Just let me know!
  12. I'd be interested in rock sliders for an EA82, if possible, as well as some quarter panel guards?
  13. I only have 2 I could spare, if that's of any use to you let me know!

  14. Most likely lookin at 27's, as I have a set (and then some) of 14" pugs waiting for rubber. I've been looking at general grabbers, but I cant pull the trigger on those yet so i've been getting real familiar with craigslist lol.
  15. looks like I need to start saving my pennies for some tires, as I've met every other qualification. I just my ea82 back on the straight and narrow, so it seems only appropriate that I proceed to bash the living hell out of it with you guys.
  16. hate to start another weber question thread, but I need some assistance. I'm sucking coolant through my intake via the hot water outlet after my weber swap. It seems the supplied cardboard gasket isn't functioning as a block-off, does anybody have a viable solution? Thanks! EDIT: nevermind, it seems a schmear of JB weld should do the trick, but if theres a better way let me know!
  17. Does SJR's kit come with any additional pieces/parts (subframe drop, extended steering linkage, etc) to justify the cost? just curious, as I'm in the market for a 2 inch kit..
  18. I've seen that legacy around, I think he's on dirtyimpreza.com as well. I LOVE it, very tastefully done.
  19. A winch-mount front bumper and swinging, spare-holding rear bumper with gas can mount(s) would be nice. rocker panel armor/sliders, maybe some integrated skid plates with said products. maybe its just me, but I'd really like to see an extended, long travel set up similar to what the prerunner guys run; but when you start spending more on suspension then your car's worth things can get real impractical real quick...
  20. Excellent, thank you scott. Just to clarify, what exactly does your 2" kit come with? From what I understand it comes with the crossmember spacer to correct the camber, but does it include a lengthened steering shaft? Forgive my ignorance, the ea82 chassis (& subarus in general) are still relatively unfamiliar to me. Thanks!

  21. Looking for a good, durable (14") tire for my ea82 daily driver and I stumbled across these. Anybody have any experience with these? I can't decide between these, the bighorns, or grabbers. My only concerns are the stock motor's ability to push the new (bigger) rubber up the hills of my commute. I don't plan on any SERIOUS off roading, but it is the camp rig as well so mild trails and spirited forest road outings will be seen regularly. Any input is appreciated, thanks!
