I want to give njdrsubaru ( Neo) a HUGE thanks ...without him I dont think this project could have ever been completed. Took my 95 Legacy LS wagon for her maiden voyages yesterday...but on over 200 miles and she drives like a dream!!! Shifts like butter, rides so smooth, and everything is tight. WOW!! hard to believe what can be done to a $250 Lego and about 2 weekends. New Tranny and her outback struts and body blocks..not to mention her extra lights. Its all just a big WOW. I drove her to work and back and she never missed a beat. Taking her for emmissions and her hard plates today. Its almost a shame to think she is going to be off roaded. I am just so happy right now:banana:

Mikey ..I might let you play with mine alittle...as long as you dont take it swimming ..we havent moved the ECU yet -
Got her registered and legal today..and took her for a short run...down the my tire/ alignment guys...She drove sooooo smooth and nice..especially after the alignment. I wanted to do that right away because she has new pirellis on her that I plan on selling once I get the bigger tires ( which I picked out ) and I want to keep them as nice as possible for the future possible owner ( I have a few people interested already) But I found a tranny fluid leak that will be addressed this weekend..until then she is grounded ..except to go get emmission tested in a day or two so I can get her hard plates. The leak is from the filler tube ..there is a broken bolt ..so its no big deal to fix it.

Your brain was messed up even before the radiation sweety . ( buckys ducks and runs for a corner...I wuvs you!!! ) -
I am used to running around with njdrsubarus twin lego to mine so I am aware of what the bigger tires etc does to the car...I also planned on running with my GPS for a few. Sorry I am not into the intake and exhaust mods not worth the money IMO. This is just a off road car that will be used alittle to go to work to keep mileage off my 08 Impreza ( 34K miles in a year and a half)

Thanks Jerry.. You rock!!. I am going to try the above suggestions in a couple weeks...cause it worked fine before I put it on the new motor..thats what confused me...I had is wonderfully dialed in..started easy and purred like a kitten. Just Confused.:-\

I am shopping for bigger tires now..might have them in a week or 2 ..we will see. Need to get it registered and run it abit before having it emission tested because we reset the puter. Cant wait .. I want to drive her to work....I just put her sunroof deflector and have a few little things yet to do ..like rig up the Sat radio etc.

Now that my Legacy is basically done I can get back to my coupe. Here is my issue with the Weber. Choke is seized from the way it feels..yyou can only close the flaps by hand and the whole thing is extremely stiff. You could pump the gas pedal all day it and it will not start. Will only run with starter fluid and then let it idle very rough for a few minutes without touching anything. Once the motor is up to about 100 degrees ..only then can you play with the throttle. It does have the classic accelerator pump failure issue also. Debating on pulling it and sending it out to be rebuilt again. ( It was just done not too long ago and never driven on it) Now it did run fine after the first motors head gasket repair ..up until it was put on the new motor. Getting very frustrated with it an and am temped to put back on another stock carb.
