Gary..if it makes you feel any better...running Rockys AC causes him to get hot also...without a thermostat...with the one fan running constantly..the AC fan runs like it is supposed to and a freshly flushed radiator...without the AC on even in 90+ days he doesnt go above 1/4 but turn the AC on and he gets just about to 1/2 ....glad I dont mind no AC but Tommy whines like a little baby

I keep telling you to get your rear up here..there are plenty of us who appreciate your talents...and both myself and Tommy know some words in Hondoran ( I dont know what we should call your dialect of Spanish)..but they are all bad ( Tommys work crew are mainly from Honduras).I even have a spare bedroon that if you ask LeakingOil real nice she might let you barrow...she is my bestest friend and claimed my spare bedroom..shhhh dont tell her there is a dirt bike in it right now...Here is some bribery for you...I have a grill and use it almost every night..even in the winter during snow storms..could really use some help with my Loyale;)

You 2 Loyales are too gorgous to let anything happen to them....Right now My wagon looks pathetic...he is up on jack stands waiting for parts with no rear wheels...But hopefully in about 2 weeks he will be all back in order.. Isnt this just the saddest sight: excuse my dog..she is a ham and loves getting into pictures...especially when I am working on the cars:)

HAHAHA Mary!!! I judge Tommy by his headaches..and I am still wondering how a bean pole like him can put away so much food.I think he would faint if I ever did a nuke-um meal. He especially like my from scratch stromboli with hot capicola,pepperoni, hard salami provolone mozzerella peppers onions and home made sauce.....the same is there arent many of us left who know how to cook a HOME cooked true meal...evrything now is quick already made...shame.Yesterday for breakfast I made home fries and bacon and sausage egg sandwiches..nothing too big since we had a cookout to go to AHHHH Food and Subarus..a perfect match:lol: You boys hungry yet???

When you get that all patched up...you want to come over here and show me how to weld please?? ... I am happy others agree that its still in the saveable stage..and I didnt get flamed for saying so...Dont forget...any of us who have to deal with rust...these cars are getting more rare by the day ..not saying every one has to be saved but some of the select models derserve a shot...If you cant fix it you can still stop it by what the others stated...gringding it down and POR-15.. Looking good!! I wish I could help ( I so love doing body work ) Plus i want someone to show me the basics of welding darn it!! Just be patient..thats one of the keys to body work.

It looks alot better then mine doeson my XT6..hope that makes you feel better:) ..I would try the POR-15 stuff to stop it from getting any worse...I am planning on having a new front frame rails fabricated and welded in within the next year....yours ( to me ) looks like it has another couple years left...unless you know how to weld then you could repair those. Plus since yours is a rarer ( is that a word?) model being the Diamond edition..I think it may be worth saving...or as everyone tells me ( but I havent listened yet) find a rust free shell and transfer all your goodies. Its all really..how far do you want to go ..how much work are you willing to put into it.Is it worth it to you! This is just my opinion and it means nothing you are talking to someone who has well over $2000 into her XT6 and still hasnt gotten to the frame yet

Thanks Rob...you helped me make my mind up...going to go with Skips offer and keep the drums for now until I can find disks from a FWD car...the costs would be alittle more than I have to spend to do trailing arms AND everything else..you the man!!

So..say I located a disk set up for my Loyale...and say its from a 92 Loyale Turbo 4WD...do I also need the trailing arms ..or would my spindles work? Sorry for all the stupid questions but thanks for the great answers:grin:

OH!! I had bucks exhaust a few years ago come completly off with out any effects to the idle.. Just sounded bad...Actually I spent the day with my favorite car..he got his almost brand new headlight ( the one on your left in the pic) now I need to get the other one and side markers so they all match) and I did alot of work figuring out his brake problem..found some rust I need to fix..re-hung his exhaust that came off the hanger,cleaned out his engine bay from all the tree junk.all in all a good bonding day.. I so Love my Loyale!! new headlight: and proof I was working on him..my dog was helping too:) Might have to put a spring spacer in to get that rear up..looks cool up in the air alittle;)

NGKs...we all sware by NGKs...I run them in both my Loyale and my XT6 and both of our dirt bikes... Whats wrong with your idle?? have you checked the codes on your ECU? is your check engine light on? A small miss in the idle could be alot of things..plugs,dirty air filter,dirty fuel filter,bad cap rotor and or wires..Common problem for these guys we love so much is Purge and or EGR sylinoids...but they will cause the check engine light to normally come on ( unless its burnt out)

I dont think the new shoes will have the holes for that gold strut adjuster thingy

So basically...I have to find a hub assembly from a Loyale FWD and replace the whole thing right?? geesh..just when I thought this wasnt going to be so bad:confused: and all the parts I just ordered are all for a FWD 92 Loyale...guess Bucky is really down now since he is torn apart.... Anyone have a rear drum hub assembly for a 92 Loyale FWD?

Have I annoyed everyone yet???? Next Dumb question....Is the brake set up supposed to be different for each side??? I am posting pics of each... Also,....outter wheel bearing definately shot on left rear..all seem fine on right rear. Left rear ( this side was grinding)( I forgot what my left and right was...this is the right side..passenger) Right rear..all looks clean and much newer cept for the fact the one shoe was about gone.
