  1. I thought you had the only EA82 in Kentucky? what are you going to do, throw it in the back and go twice as slow?
  2. Hi Tony.. yes it is, i believe. check the marketplace posts...
  3. yeah, GTFG. i heard that from someone before...
  4. skeet's being mean again! check the oil return line under the turbo? maybe a clamp is loose. take your car to a carwash with HOT water and clean all that nast crap out of there, so you can see where it's coming from when it leaks.
  5. i just bid on one with the BOV and i dont' even have my car running again yet .. i'm a sick sick man..
  6. dealer parts are considered to be the best by many people here, but (i think) richierich did some research as to what companies supply TO the dealer so you can get better pricing by going directly to them. don't forget the timing belts, clutch kit, and water pump are brand new (timing belts - subaru, water pump - napa, clutch - rhino) .. the flywheel also shouldn't need to be machined because it was done so recently. the pilot and throwout bearings are new with the clutch kit and the clips for the TOB are new from the dealer too. and this time take pics of the doves. that sounds like a must see!
  7. if it's carbureted, there's probably a way to turn down the cold idle. i don't know how with EFI
  8. and you thought brake cleaner in the eyes was fun...
  9. did you make sure the throwout/release bearing had the two wire clips installed? did you make sure the side of the clutch with the springs sticking out further was facing away from the engine? also make sure the hill holder is adjusted properly? good luck
  10. i've trained myself out of putting anything at all on the battery.. get a magnetic dish for tools/bolts.. you should never pay more than $10 for one and it can live in the engine compartment somewhere so you always have it..
  11. hm, if you can fit a brat IN a uhaul then you could fit any EA81 vehicle inside one.. mwa hahaha
  12. hey, i've seen that car before still looks good a spider intake has to go on MPFI/turbo heads. whatever pistons inside whatever block you use are up to you. turbo and carb have the same low compression pistons and MPFI/SPFI have the same higher compression pistons. have fun
  13. WOW 58,000 miles!! better change those timing belts soon
  14. you would like the ausubaru.com forum a lot. also talk to corky/dr.rx on this board...
  15. aargh, forgot about the email thing. i didn't bother considering the PM feature as he's only posted on the new board once and i wouldn't expect him to check his PMs very often. thanks..
  16. "why bid on a grille I don't need? To run up the price! And if I do win, I will have the owner auction it off again." I feel this is unethical and would ask you to reconsider this practice. I would call it fraud and would give no sympathy to anyone who gets kicked out of Ebay due to practices like this. How would you like to lose an auction because someone was cheating to get a higher price.. or how would you like to pay more for an auction you won because the seller artificially inflated the price? this is the USMB, not Enron
  17. does anyone know how to get ahold of rguyver please?
  18. someone on the ausubaru.com board has a 300 HP EA82T. it's got oversized everything: fuel injectors, turbo, forged pistons.. I think a 3" custom exhaust, FMIC, crazy stuff
  19. heh. Rob's going to post about "some guy" he gets all of these cheap turbowagons from
