  1. If you can get ahold of one of those snake cameras that sewer inspection companies use, that might be helpful. You might have to call a plumber.
  2. Pull N Save confiscates all the jacks so that people can't jack the cars up off of the rim platforms.. I'll find one somehow.. thanks.
  3. thanks. the blue one's probably too wide...
  4. I know I checked the brake fluid, don't recall if I had to top it off. ... wait, I did. Another case of fixing several things at the same time having confused the diagnosis. Thanks.
  5. well, this problem is not occurring now.. This progressed from the above symptoms to: dash/shifter illumination only on with the brake pedal depressed, to: no dash/shifter illumination at all. What could it have been? demons in the master cylinder? gremlins in the brake pedal switch? Hobbits in the digidash? ... The fuse which these all share was burnt.. I changed the fuse a week ago and the cockpit illumination is working properly now. I'm checking the fuse every day or two to see if it starts to progressively degrade as the other one apparently did, so far so good. (Both brake lights were fine BTW) But... what's the red light of the circled exclamation point for? Under the tell-tale diagram of the car? It isn't on at all anymore now that the fuse has been changed, and the digidash isn't explored at all in the FSM... thanks!
  6. yeah yeah. So my coupe didn't come with a jack but it did come with that cool inside-the-upside-down-spare-tire jack bracket. Is that supposed to accept the standard blue jack or does it prefer the funky bronze-colored one with the built-in handle? (I can't recall if there are jack-handle-clips on the spare tire shelf like on N/A EA81s)... Thanks, Andy "King of the hyphens"
  7. yeah, so I want to powdercoat my 4-spoke alloys... I'm moving out of this apartment in a couple of months, thinking about using the oven one last time for such before I go
  8. There you go with that "logic" again... I don't know, it might work. Let us know how it goes!
  9. I would take Jerry's advice on this whether he's personally experienced it or not good luck with your trans! sounds cool.
  10. has anyone ever broken that part in that way before?
  11. before you blame the shop, what were they working on? If they were working on the exhaust or tires, for examples, you probably can't blame them for the windows... more info needed here.
  12. hopefully the diff centers themselves won't start giving out after stronger stubs are installed
  13. Starving Rottweiler in the back seat. You could leave the doors unlocked with the car running and have not a worry.
  14. I know there are people here who have them, and some of them have made noises about repopping these.. I'm sure someone will chime in. What's the price for the Kaminari front spoiler alone? I'm torn between an A-bar & skid plate or one of these.
  15. I've seen dome-head style Torx bolts used as well. With fender washers underneath. Sorry I couldn't find a good pic.
  16. anybody had good luck with speakers in the kick panels? Better sound triangulation down there... and I'm partial to the little crap cubby that can fit in place of the left dash speaker... I keep forgetting to yank the kick panels from a junkyard car to check for clearance...
  17. ok.. I'm sure I can make do with the Brat diagrams. The diagrams for the rear of the car aren't going to be turbo-specific anyway.. thanks!
