  1. I think it's a great idea. it would be easiest to get a used ladder rack from a small pickup or something (craigslist or ebay) and shorten it to fit... I see them for $100 used once in a while...
  2. Is the engine under warrantee? If so, they owe you a LOT more than they're offering.
  3. nice job! with a color scheme like that, I have to insist on pics of the rest of the car! and you're welcome.
  4. sounds like you need to find another driveline shop
  5. I like the angle you chose to cut the front fenders.
  6. yeah, my wagon (EA82) is going to end up with the rear wiper enabled by the fronts' intermittent circuit. After I get the ***************** thing running of course.
  7. have you considered rebuilding the carb? plus standard tuneup stuff...
  8. yes. grab them so we can get pictures. if you don't want them it's guaranteed that someone on the board will at least reimburse you for them.
  9. I see it as a good excuse to get a bench vise. I can either spend the $ on that or spend more at a machine shop to have it done there. I can just spend an hour on it before work in the morning until it's done.
  10. i don't feel that retaining the front e-brake is "better," I just don't want to have to engineer the rear e-brake and search for the parts, etc. I have too much else to do to get it running.
  11. ok. after a grueling 4 minutes spent searching the USMB, I found this blast from the past. Problem solved. thanks (again) Tex
  12. I've got a plethora of CDs, I just like making you wait.
  13. I'm using the EA lines; they're made for the chassis and I think it'd be easier to adapt the fittings than to adapt an entire set of lines...
  14. too freakin' bad you don't know anyone who has it. it would be even more convenient if it were someone you saw all the time and had a good digital-camera-borrowing relationship with. too bad for you...
  15. funny, the guy in the passenger's seat looks like he's flinching. I know I would
  16. j/k bro. it's a cool effect, makes it look more like the car's staring you down. Whoever blinks first loses!
  17. i pulled a roll bar out of a 4-runner that will fit nicely in the back of my EA82 wagon once I narrow it a couple inches... then i can finally have rear shoulder belts!
  18. also there's one under the car/under the door.
  19. i'll be hosting it on some webspace I have very soon...
