  1. I've never heard of that brand and searching this site shows that you're probably the first one to talk of it. Spread it out and post a picture of what you have and we can probably help you figure it out that way. There have been several different lift kit manufacturers but all lifts are similar in enough ways that it shouldn't be too hard.
  2. he probably searched for "tow" and got stuck on the 4-letter minimum. I hate that..
  3. I personally don't feel the adapter plate is a big deal (and it's kind of cool to brag about ) Basically then this will let you make a "phantom" 4.11 FT4WD RX transmission.. because you're stuck with whatever center section matches the pinion shaft you use (because the pinion gear is welded to the shaft). So... why not just import the 3.9 or 4.11 locking-diff center sections instead of the whole thing, and save a boatload on shipping? BTW I searched for threads started by Phizinza (and all of them look useful ) but this is the thread in question where he built his: Brumby conversion: EJ22, hybrid AWD center lock, SUCCESS!!!
  4. Awesome, I could totally see her driving that one too aaaand here's where I geek out: That has DL headlights but the dual range and the Fun Tops mean it's a GL. What gives?
  5. I'm "interested" but it's not practical right now for me. Thanks for your efforts here though.
  6. Now there's something you don't see every day.
  7. I ditched the hood latch and the stock bumper and the little strip that runs between the headlights/grille and the bumper. I have two stock EA82 electric fans in front, wired "backwards." I welded cylindrical stock from the hardware store to the front of the radiator support, with captive nuts welded on the back of the radiator support; they suspend the fans at uniform levels in front. I would like to box in the sides of the fans and probably weld their shrouds together into a single unit and then explore reintroducing a hood latch; I have hood pins installed now. I don't have pics now and it's dark but I'll try for some soon.
  8. you still haven't installed that trailing arm i sent you? Good luck getting your money. It sounds like the frame is boinked.
  9. As seen at WCSS! Thanks to Tex for manufacturing them for me ORDER HERE! http://worldwidecm.com/stickers.html They're $4-$5 each with $1.00 shipping USA for as many as you buy. All are original size except for the smaller "Brat 4WD" sticker which is about half-size.
  10. good timing here, B. My OBW does the same thing and I'm planning to chase it this weekend.
  11. I'd say you picked the right color for your Nice rig Those wheels are killer too!
  12. in before GD... Place a want ad here and haunt eBay; eventually someone will have a nice fresh head or a set of them. You might also consider swapping in a 2.2 EFI (nonturbo) from a Legacy. You will find much info regarding the merits and required parts for such (and the detriments of the older turbo motors) if you search our Retrofitting forum for EJ22 SWAP. Good luck!
  13. You didn't miss much; it was mostly people sitting around peeling tape and electrocuting themselves with multimeters.
  14. I love that shot of my car, Rob, thanks the others aren't bad either
  15. we should start taking the leftover shirts every year and adding I MISSED IT somewhere on them
  16. FYI all, I don't always have the same expression on my face; he fired off like 8 shots per second at a bunch of us
  17. Not a bad deal at all. You can sell that Toyota and get what it's worth a lot easier than you could have done so with the wagon. You can always make another one. Enjoy the truck!
  18. My car has the stock front bumper replaced with a tube bumper; it doesn't use the fan too often either.
