Wow! That is cheap. I LIKE! No-one confirmed if it will work but if it's for the Sentra like posted above, it should. You know if you purchased it, tried it and it didn't work, someone on here will come out of the blue and say they knew it wouldn't work because they tried it. So anyone? Will this work or not? Also, does anyone know if it'd fit an XT6?

I've been searching the forums to no avail. Is there anyone here that owns a 1990+ turbocharged Loyale? I'm particularly interested in one with a 4 speed automatic. http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/used/reviews/full/index.cfm/id/2102 indicates that a 4 speed automatic is available. I can never find any turbocharged loyales in the car ads in my area. I'd like to read up on some more information about these cars. Thanks! BTW: A turbocharge Loyale Sedan would be excellent if they made it.

Frankensteining my 1994 Justy?
Myxalplyx replied to thegnu's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I have read about the SHO gun and how Jay Leno has one and all. Just wanted to know if you were renting out your mechanical abilities to build one. I'm no mechanic but boy do I have a ton of ideas. Truthfully, I wanted to have a Justy with an Acura Integra GSR engine in it. I don't care what peeps think about a project like that but with that engine as a starting point, the sky would be the limit for me. And the low torque of that engine would fair better with my Justy's drivetrain. I posted about this a while back in another thread. -
I need more power!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some suggestions: Read this link--->http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/ea-performance-page/subaru-ea-performance.html If you want to take it a step further, go here: http://www.ramengines.com/ Now, how much $$$ do you want to spend? The power is there. Here are even more links to other links: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22058 -
Frankensteining my 1994 Justy?

Are you saying you can build this car for 5Gs? If so, we need to talk in PM. -
I riced out my car.... (warning, 56K)

Hey, I see you are getting a lot of compliments on this site as well. Great car! -
What the?a^%$# How did this come about? Are you saying your engine only has 17k or the whole car has only run 17k?

TURBO JUSTY sighted?????
Myxalplyx replied to Hondasucks's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
People like me don't have the mechanical skill as you do to see this type of project too completion. Plus, I work like a dog (12 hours a day last 8 days) and my family eats up any of the rest of my time. That's why I asked you if you could do it. Thanks though! Good luck with your future project(s). Oh yeah, and to stay on topic, there are no turbo justy's from the factory. -
Oh sorry! The results were in FWD mode which made more hp/torque than AWD (In an auto). My auto tranny is lazy and ready for a permanent vacation. It wouldn't shift into 3rd gear in AWD mode on the dyno. All runs here on out will be in FWD even after the tranny is rebuilt (if that happens). I just didn't want the results to be inflated. We be slow!

Are you saying that if I were to purchase a Subaru Justy, you could make me a turbokit easily? How much? -
145hp!! Stop by this link for XT6 food for thought. http://www.xt6.net/History.htm

XT6 turbo...can it be done?
Myxalplyx replied to Subaru X's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
My biggest problem is the turbo 'kit' itself. Modified header to uppipe, turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intake to turbo and turbo to throttle body. Are you saying you have all this done except for the downpipe itself? Can you send me details on this so I can do it myself with a competent shop? Can you fabricate all the parts I spoke of and sell me a kit like yours when it's complete or even sell me your completed kit? Send me a PM if you like, we don't have to discuss this here. Any pics you'd like to share with us here or at the XT6.net site? These XT6s seem like that have a nice broad torque band and a turbo would make these cars really move. I just want to realize this 'dream' someday. That's all! On the otherhand, I promise that I'll get my FWD XT6 in the high 13's with nitrous (possibly low 13's) sometime in the future. It's going to happen even if I have to blow that car to pieces to do it. -
TURBO JUSTY sighted?????
Myxalplyx replied to Hondasucks's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I've always wanted one of these. Would give one of my XT6s for it. Even more than this, I want a Justy with an EJ25 powerplant stuffed in it somehow. One guy said he was going to do it and I bugged the hell out of him because I wanted it BADLY. It never came to be. A 1700lb - 1900lb Justy with 165hp/165lbs-ft of torque would move very very nicely. Of course intake/exhaust/pulley and maybe cams would be put in. I'm going to stop now before I have to go to the store and get some 'Depends'. -
Recommendations On Building 9+CR EA82T?
Myxalplyx replied to NorthWet's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I believe WJM simply forgot to turn his timing down or something to that affect. He just recently made a comment about it in another post. *scratching head* Where is that long post anyway when he was going the 9.5:1 turbo block? It was really interesting. Ahh...here it is. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2550&page=1&highlight=9.5%3A1 -
XT6 turbo...can it be done?
Myxalplyx replied to Subaru X's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Hi Subaru X , The mythical and mysterious 'Taterhead' of 400hp XT6 fame supposedly had a turbocharged XT6. No-one has seen it. He did have a nice site up for a while. I have it saved on my computer. Besides the 400hp figure, no more had been said about him and he went to Germany. Ah well! The guy who supercharged his XT6 is Paul Singer. Never quite finished his project as far as I know. Dyno'd low 200's and he put thousands (approaching 20k) into his XT6 (suspension, engine, wheels, brakes). As one has said above, his hoodline is too low and he was looking to have a custom hood on his XT6 to support the supercharger (which sat too high). Here are some cool pics of his XT6 you can check out. http://www.xt6.net/Paul%27s_superchaged_XT6.htm Dave of ProECM (ProECM.com) has a custom turbokit setup he's made for his XT6. Custom fuel enrichment made by his company, etc. There are a few pics floating around of his header/uppipe and downpipe. I have some pics at home (I'm at work). He's not making any more kits for other XT6'ers. His is only a test bed for products he's making for other Subarus. Sucks huh! Frank D. Germano is working on a Tesla Turbine system (supercharger) for the XT6 as of present. The product is called InVAID Systems (Induced, vortex-accellerated, implosion drive). You like reading a lot? Here's a LOT of information about it. http://www.xt6.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2658&start=0 He should be posting up something soon any day/week now. He's torn up two motors as of recent dealing with boost/fueling issues. I think he's almost done as a matter of fact. Here's a lot more information to read about this product itself. Historical date - http://www.frank.germano.com/tesla_turbine.htm Engineering date - http://www.frank.germano.com/theturbine.htm My company - http://www.frank.germano.com/thecompany.htm Nikola Tesla - http://www.frank.germano.com/nikolatesla.htm Viktor Schauberger - http://www.frank.germano.com/viktorschauberger.htm I'm in line for one of these babies. Muhahaha! If it comes to be of course which seems to good to be true. Oh yeah, I purchased Witte's turbokit from him in an attempt to turbo my XT6. Here are some pics of the turbokit. http://www.xt6.net/Kevin%27s_XT6.htm I never was successful getting it installed unfortunately. I took the whole kit to Rallispec in NJ thinking it would be installed in about a month. I also purchased an air/water intercooler kit from ProECM to add to the kit. Even made my own website about the diary of a turbocharged XT6. Found out everything you see on that link above had to be chucked out and I had to start from scratch (header, piping, intercooler, oil cooler, etc). Even my air/water intercooler from ProECM couldn't fit because of the electric power steering unit. There went $1600, my tail went between my legs, ears folded, I yelped and my dreams were shattered instantly as I ran off into the sunset. I should've took my car to Rallispec and started from there. So there you have it. That's all for now! -
I never really plan any dyno runs. If I have some extra $$$, a stupid idea or something I want to test out, I call them up and just drive up there. I have a lot of dyno runs of the other XT6 but just didn't think people would be interested here since there's another XT6 site. As I get more (especially of the 'newer' XT6 I got), I'll be sure to post up results. I have some work to do on both of them. They both have unknown problems right now.

On this note, stay away from any of the automatic trannys of years past. *Scary ghosts sound in the background* You'll be sorry!

I never posted this info so I figure, what the hizzle. All the XT6ers aren't at the other sites right? Not to long ago, I did 4 stock dyno runs, went to muffler shop (Meineke) to have custom 2.25" piping and muffler I had installed and drove back up to the dyno shop for 4 more dyno runs. So everything was done on the same day. I took the BEST stock hp/torque run and compared it to one of the Dynomax runs. All the Dynomax runs were fairly consistent while two of the stock runs did better than two others. So, this is a best case stock vs average Dynomax comparison. The hp/torque variance would've been more had I used any of the other stock runs but I wanted to post a 'worst' case scenario to not inflate the numbers. Here's a dyno of a completely stock AWD/Auto XT6 vs same XT6 with 2.25" cat back piping with a 2.25" In/Out Dynomax Ultraflow SS Muffler in 3rd gear (In FWD mode). All runs were in FWD. I could've done AWD but I did this previously in this car and I couldn't get into 3rd gear. The tranny is very weak. Also, the AWD mechanism isn't working properly since the rear wheels don't engage on the dyno. I have 1st and 2ng gear dyno info also but didn't want to confuse with a bunch of line graphs all over the place. Note the Dynomax muffler moved the powerband up about 2500rpm. You may not be able to see closely but playing with the dyno software shows anywhere from 4ft/lbs to 10ft/lbs (Like at 5700rpm) in some places. If I used any of the worse stock runs, it'd be even higher. Seems like an ok mod. Pics of the two different mufflers can be found in this thread: http://www.xt6.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2814 Heres how the stock and Dynomax muffler sound. May not be the best example. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/thomasck/XT6StockMuff.MOV http://mywebpages.comcast.net/thomasck/XT6DynomaxMuff.MOV I'm posting from work and I'm bored so don't mind me. Labory Day + Working = Teh Sucks!

I forgot to post one of the most important things from QikRXTurbo. The 215 figure is the old hp figure. Apparently there's more to come on top of the 286hp figure. Sound interesting? :-p

I totally missed the information you posted. At least this makes it easier to find. I hope you don't mind me posting this like this.

Shadow, Will you be posting up any information as to the progress of this engine, when it's done the hp/torque figures and other stuff in another thread at some point? I've always wondered about Paeco. You hardly see anyone from the Subaru boards go with them due to their prices. Make me wonder though.

Hey all, Those of you with a recurved distributor, can you post up your results with it and how you like/liked it? I've read 3 different threads with a mention of it in it (2 of them by General Disorder) but nothing more than just a mention of it. Ram Performance (http://www.ramengines.com) says this-----> "Recurving the distributor properly will add 13ft.lbs torque and aid in idle control." That's a lot of torque for an EA81 engine. I'm not sure if they are talking about a highly worked/modified one, a stock one or both. Can anyone with experience in this area enlighten me/us? Thanks!
