ER27 EA82 and EA82T injector compatability
stngllhm replied to idosubaru's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...

When i did my spider intake swap on my turbo i didn't have the right throttle cable so i made a bracket so i could use the standard turbo cable. Well thet cable broke and i had heard that the carb cables are shorter than than the turbo cable. So i went out and stole the cable off my parts car and it is the right size to work with the spider intake. I just wish i had known the spider cable and the carb cable where the same a couple months ago.

since your coming into summer you should find out if your state has a law against running studded tires year around. if there is a law against it i would run the ones with no studs. when i lived in oregon i remember helping my dad destudd the tires for the soob no fun.

car losing coolant!
stngllhm replied to misledxcracker's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
your more likely to overheat with out a thermastat the water will flow to quick thoughout the system not giving it enough time in the radiator to cool down. as far as pressure testing the system the autozone here has a loan-a-tool program yours might as well. just a thought. stan -

Aren't we all a little wired some more so than others -
to me it sounds like it could be a loose connection between the distbuter and coil.
