It really only gets bad to worse when they end up pulling from multiple warehouses. Got to watch each item as you add, it'll say A, B or C warehouse.

I have used it there. I do believe that it has minimized the leaking. I've used it on a couple of other things also and haven't seen any leaks. I say give it a try can't hurt.

A high console for the Gen2 brat would be awesome! -

These are the statements that make me want to the PNW.... Just don't have the inventory here in the Midwest Flat hole for items like this to show up, only on the very rare occasion. Of course with any luck I'll be bringing home a $500 Outback tomorrow as long as the stars line up in my favor.(or RATHER my brother-in-laws) -

That doesn't sound good at all, hard to say exactly what else is Fdd up in the motor. You are going to have a lot of $$ wrapped up in another block and ect. I would say go with a 2.2. -

I think this is a wonderful idea http -stewartkb. It would be wonderful to add some for the Brat also, don't know how possible this is though. Rear wagon spoiler....I've always loved those also, +1 here. -
99 Forester Automatic Apparently when I plugged the tranny cooler lines back in I didn't get one hose clamp down tight enough, it was one of the original Subaru types with the screw and washer deal, or I just forgot to tighten . Car stopped moving on exit ramp.... There is still a tad bit of fluid showing on dipstick though. If I dump fluid back in like it should be what do you think the probabilities are that things will still be functional? Any other additives that you would suggest supplementing with, LUCAS or other wise? Thoughts?? Thanks in advance for any input.

Here's the brief history of the car. I helped my niece find/go get it. Drove 6hrs one way to pick it up. It has just over 200k on the motor, probably 40k on the transmission. HGs were done about 2k ago, before we got it. (Done right I might add). She had been driving it almost 4 weeks. There weren't to many other issues with it, a couple, but not major. So it really pains me that we're back to square one almost with her transportation, her family hasn't had the best of luck with vehicles. Anyway, the car will be @ their house, so I can go pull and check things any time.

+1 for giving the seals a work over, I haven't seen any seal kits available either, haven't really looked though. If you have the means or ability to fix the body parts, do it, it's worth it, these cars are a blast and they are really hardy. Yes your drive train should be good as gold from the sounds of it. As far as seats that will bolt in directly, good luck with that, I got a set from a WRX and I ended up redoing the mounting points completely.
