  3. If anybody has a spare proportioning valve, I would love to pick it up.
  4. They are different, not sure how they are different, just know they are.
  5. This makes me sad, very sad, just for the input he always had.
  6. and here are the Australian Cattle dog passengers. Dash is a red heeler , with more show ribbons than you can believe ,a full "Australian champion" show dog, she was just a few hundred points away from "Grand Australian Champion" status when the previous owner retired her from sohowing.. The 17 week old puppy has no papers but has two very hard working blue heeler parents, - what more could you want than a "bluey" born on Australia Day ?? Just for those not full bottle on the old time Australian lingo, "blue heeler" was also the slang name used in the outback for the local constabulary, as they wore blue uniforms and were continually chasing and biting at someones' heels Thanks to a forum member for getting this done for me What beautiful dogs you have there mate.
  7. +1 for not having to deal with this fixit, praying and knocking on wood that I don't have to anytime soon too.
  8. GD, if you don't mind, post some pics of this, I didn't get the valve when I did my swap. Now I am wondering how hard this is going to be to find.
  9. If venture through Kansas, look me up too if you want. I'll pm you my info.
  10. Nice write up. Nice car too! Is it a manual or automatic? Really makes me miss my 96, same color scheme 2.2 and manual, that was a wonderful car too. Quiet it down and make it a daily driver, or just find another Sub to be your daily.
  11. That is weird, so doesn't list them on the 87 list of parts.
  12. Those are the correct ones I do believe.
  13. Looking for late 90s Subaru to 2004 ish. Needs to be in decent shape body wise, and mechanically sound. Looking at spending 3-4K. Thanks
  14. I have been under the impression that the cars from the PNW are less cancer ridden than those of the NE. I want to know if this is something that I have fabricated in my brain when I was asleep or if this is true. I am looking/inquiring/making the decision for my nephew to either buy or not buy said car. Would prefer someone on the board here have a car up for sale, I also know those chances are slim to none, any and all input is appreciated and will be welcomed. Thank You
  15. Not really sure what the average mileage life of the NGKs are, depends on several factors.
  16. There is great debate on the efficacy of the expensive plugs being worthwhile. I prefer to go with the base price plug.
  17. NGK brand are the best brand, model # will depend on the engine 2.2 or 2.5. In my opinion I would change the wires at the same time while you are there. I have done them individually and it's not worth the hassel of going back again. Not to mention if one part isn't that good the other is probably on the way out, just a good maintence thing to do.
  18. That is awesome, so many ideas so little time and or money.
  19. The Outback is going to surpass the Edge with ground clearence. Can't say how the Edge handles, the Outback is AWESOME. I had a first gen Outback, pushed it to the limit a time or two and it was just phenomenal on its performance. And the 2015 model is no exception, don't know about the limits though, since it's my mother's car that I have driven this year, everything else seems exceptional.
  20. And what might be wrong with this sentence? I got every word.
