att. all Colorado subaru fans!!!
maximumBRAT replied to subaruloverbrad's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
the picky-ness usually goes by counties. I'm in larimer, where there is only standard emissions, and during the summer my friends and i take the doors off everything we own and cruise them in fort collins (large town, lots of cops on cruise night). half of our stuff (make that every truck, which probably 3/4 of us own one) is lifted or modified in some way. Weld county is the same only no emissions, even. However they run dyno-emissions in aurora and probably other places so they might care more. -

okay, space that.. i'm not going to be able to go, i will be in california on a road trip in the Tleg with a girlfriend of mine. i'd like to go, but the beach sounds better. -
i was going to come down to visit nossy one of these weekends, if it's a meet that's super. I have the turbo legacy on the road and would have no problem driving down there. unless i get cheap and me and the boy take the R6 or something. anyway, i'm down for anynight but thursday, 27th, i have a physics test or 29th is my dad's birthday and i'm taking him to the race track

I live in fort collins, about 5000 ft up, and so far i've gotten 200 miles and i have a quarter of a tank, i'm kind of scared about this. I always have my 86 22RE p/u if i need it but thr tleg seems to be killing the fossil fuel. that's what i thought about the turbo. Mine sounds like my friend's TSI that has a VF34 turbo on it.. it sounds like it's mad boosted. was wondering if my turbo's been atmosphered, but everything looks to be like it's still recirculated. thanks for the input.

she's on the road again and i am so in love--- i have been missing her so much... one-two question(s): what does the BOV/Wastegate assembly consist of and do they usually sound really loud? mine is extremely noisy; spools at 2500 rpm and you can hear all the whirring and a BOV-type sound but i don't really know if this is normal because ,most stock cars don't have such a hiss (might i add, a veryyyyy sexy sound). My turbo legacy is 100% stock, 94 Sport Sedan 5 Speed, Agean Blue (if you were curious) and newly painted/bodyworked. has a few small holes in muffler but you could point out the location of the turbo from inside the car by just the noises. while i'm at it; what are average gas mileages for this vehicle?

welcome!! What engine is in the impreza?? if you got the 2.2 (i don't remember when they put those in the impreza's) i'm doing the STi bottom end in a similar engine. I've also heard that's a good candidate for STi sleeper-ness. Welcome aboard! ~Laura -
