everything is hooked up and when the wife moves the E- brake they both move the same distance.

yes,the front brakes work fine.

brand new pads,only 2k miles on them.

both arms move about the same distance,i had the wife pull on the E-brake and with the tires off i was looking at them move.it was working fine untill last saturday when i put theE- brake on and the car started moving.the E- brake grabs zero.

good score you will like the 3 door,i drive ours only the winter but i sure like the room that they have and the looks of them.i am going out to the garage to take a look at the E-brake again.

no resistance it pull up a okay and the cable that goes to each front wheel moves but it does not grab the wheel.when the E-brake is on you can still rotate the front tires.i'll have to go look at splitter bar.

i took the kick panel off and droped the fuse box,then i found the connectors,switched them and it worked NO EGR LIGHT.so i guess i'll wait now untill it has 120K so the light will come on again.thanks for the info.Bill.

the T-Belts where replaced at 57K.I do like your reminder of the egr light to check the belts.Bill.

i just turned 60K on it and the EGR LIGHT came on,i know it's programed to do that.how can i RESET IT?????thanks,Bill.

Can somebody tell me where the cold( what is cold??? rpms) and operating temp idle is 700 rpm and do i do the cold first and then the warm?????Bill:wave:

i'll try the MMO and carb cleaner,is the screw that faces the spare tire???? i tried adjusting it and it did nothing.choke is working okay.Bill

1987 gl wagon 5 speed D/R it idles about 2000 rpm and when warm it does not come down,still 2000 rpm.can somebody tell me how to adjust the carb??? i would like to also adjust the low idle also????thanks in advance for the help from this board gives.Bill:wave:

well this is what i found,i took the one out of the wagon and then the 3 door,put them side by side and they are the same length.i now have the 3 door back on the road again.how can i get these u-joints replaced so i can put my wagon on the road??????thanks again for the quick helping hand,you guys are great.Bill:banana: :banana:

the 88 3 door 5 SPEED D/R the u-joint on the rear end just went bad,can someone tell me if the one of my 87 wagon 5 SPEED D/R work untill i can put a u-joint on the car?????i need to know ASAP so i can fix it tonight so i can go to work in the morning. thanks a million Bill.:wave:
