I was talking about some pugs, not tires. Sorry. The set listed in the marketplace look to have a nice set of tires on 'em. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=17820

Last year I emailed a guy selling a set on Ebay. He wouldn't tell me what size they were. It was pretty obvious he was trying to get rid of some metrics. What a turd.

I lucked out the other day at the JY. Found an EGR solenoid that looked to be almost new. And my mechanic told me I'd never find a good one at the JY. Ha!!

I got $140 off your earlier post. If it's crap, it's on you bro.

I'd like to do up some hubs like that, sweet job. Nice flywheel too. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ja_en&url=http%3a%2f%2fwww5.ocn.ne.jp%2f%7esmsgkit%2fforester.html -
I highly doubt that all 8 cv's were junk. I've used ARI's in the past with no problems. 8 cv's in 8 months? There must be something else goin' on there.

Both Accel and MSD recommend vertical installation for this reason. I would assume different climates also produce different results. Once again, what do you expect for a $30 coil? I have never heard anyone complaining about the pricier models, just the cheap canisters. You get what you pay for. I haven't read any posts yet where the coil started leaking when it was mounted upright. Now watch mine fail on the ride home.

Maybe the OE coil's don't overheat because they don't put out as much power.Wouldn't it get hotter putting out more volts? Anyway, what can you expect from a $30 coil? I carry my original coil with me just in case.

I emailed the same guy about 8 months ago and he quoted $100-125 a set for 14-15" alloys. You didn't mention Subaru did you? That turd sure jacked his prices up.

Did you get the kit from the Subaru dealer there in Shingle Springs? If so, how much did they charge you? I pass by there all the time on my way to Pollock Pines. -

Maybe your EGR passage is all clogged up or the valve isn't opening. -
Where did your Pug's go? They looked good on there.

Anyone ever used cat converter cleaner?

I don't think so, but I haven't checked for any new codes lately. I still haven't fixed my code 35 so I have the "black tape fix" for now. A couple times I have smelled some rotten eggs when pulling up steep grades. A rare occurence, but I'm hoping this stuff will get rid of that and maybe clean house a bit. -
Around here you're askin' for a ticket if you don't have covers on 'em. They're not legal for street are they? Why would you need those on the street anyway? Are you partially blind or something? Just kidding. That can be pretty dangerous for the oncoming traffic though. Getting blinded by someones brights is bad enough, let alone some 100w'ers. You probably see a lot of middle fingers, huh?

I was under the impression that ALL oil filters have bypass valves and anti-drainback baffles. Some don't work as good as others unfortunately (fram). I was looking at the K&N's the other day. The quality looks good.
