Rust,Is it missing at idle?Take a can of carb/brake cleaner and spray where the intake man.goes onto the head when it"s running... if it starts to run better the intake gaskets are shot! The X GFs car showed up running on 2cyls. I could hear it missing when it pulled in the driveway-Had a Bad intake gasket!! She Puts Gas in And Drives Spray the intake if not that check the pickup screen Good Luck

Hey Tom,I got mine from Auto Zone-It"s a VictorReinz package but the Sticker says mahle W/#s-F12284....# below that is MS91075 They look exactly like the Factory 1s and their made in Japan And they cost around $5 bucks I called my SubDealer Guy and he told me $29..for one and of course had to order it

We have it but it"s Mag Chloride Just as bad in my opinion-It likes to Weld Aluminum and Steel Together On top of the Coroding Factor Too I wash the crap out of the underneath of everything to avoid it!! I liked the all BLK. No Chrome-I don"t like chrome much either...I was gonna say paint the bumpers Blk.and paint the rubber strip Wht. and on the Whls. paint the center and the spokes Blk. I just looked at your post again and missed the part about nothing when you put start fluid in it...sorry.Well maybe the switch on the ign.is going bad { The Electric part} I know they go bad if they have alot of use on em...

I"d check the combo switch-light switch...those are known to go bad and make the lights do stupid stuff...If you have a spare plug it in....I think they"re $10.-15.at the PnP if you don"t

Did you replace the fuel filter up front too? EA81 W/mega miles on it? I"m leanin towards the fuel pump if you haven't done it.....

1of2 possibles....Jack it up and see if you can shake the wheel....if it moves around then wheel bearing is bad or the axle nut is loose... if it feels ok then maybe it"s got a piece of gravel or something in it

So is it more of a CLACKING noise-sorta sporadic-clack clack clack and does it still run on all 4 cyl. fairly smooth? Or is it a knock like if you go to the BK. glass and knock on it with your hand like your knocking on a door....

Now the truth comes out...Hence the cheap price-thats why they got rid of it! Try putting all the words in- The Tick Of Death or Rod Knock or Tick Of Death...It"s here we were just talking about it a couple of weeks ago you might have to go back in 2-3 weeks ago-I"ll look for it in a few I always end up in the old stuff by accident Good Luck

Tizzle,do you have a trailer hitch? Or if not do you have the Electric Box For the Trailer Lights on the car still?I had the box go bad and it made my lights do stupid crap-I took it off and everything was fine...The U-Haul 1s seem to be bad-I"ve come across 4 bad 1s on other cars too! Or your combo switch is going bad {Light Switch} I"ve seen that too...Good Luck
