Look in the USRM and see that you can make adaptors to allow about any configuration of seat to bolt up to existing rails. I have 96 Legacy seats in my Brat(83).

I knew subes were good - but this is crazy!

Based on the number of cars I've seen postd from the PA/NY area that have failed inspection due to rust issues, I suspect it isn't all that bad. They are way too critical on the East coast about rust. It's like rust is a 4 letter word to them. -
Wow! That's some expensive machining. 5 star would probably have been less expensive. I'd have gladly taken it there for you.

Welcome to the board. You're right in the heart of USMB central. Introduce yourself to the subie community.

If it really is that nice, buy it back from the insurance company and either part it out, or use the good parts to build a new one from a straight body. Sorry about your loss. -
Heck Mick, that's just cosmetics. Come up here and see some real rust.

Man, that looks like it was a blast. Glad you guys had fun. (And envious, too.) -
Eric, for as many friends as you have on the board, there shouldn´t be a day that goes by that you don´t feel the love.

I haven´t dealt with them. I´ve only heard good things. If you´ve had a bad experience, shoot me a PM; I´d like to know. -

Any other job opps in the Northwest?

Looking for someone with English teaching credentials - we're in a panic - position available for the remainder of the year (and a good chance to get hired back full time next year). Pay is in the mid 30's with medical and retirement bennies. (Bennies aren't available this year, but if you get rehired, they go into effect in August). - And no. It's not me who got fired. -

Prince George is about the last place for Subbie parts along the way, until you hit the Yukon. -

Good idea, Ed. I'll have to give it a spin.

EA81 Door trim question...
northguy replied to seattlelegacy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I assume you're talking about the door guard "ding strip". Often they are coated with a clear film of plastic to prevent oxidation. -
SVX Questions
northguy replied to torxxx's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
The SVX is notably bad on transmissions and brakes. Take a tour through the svx website for a bit and see forums on their specific problems. It's a good website with a lot of the same characters there as you may have seen here.
