Between you and Kelly, there's not much that can't be done with these cars/engines. Keep up the good work.

Drive train overhaul almost complete thanks to Snowman

Jerry, the 5 speed is a major improvement, and the shift kit went in pretty slick. We had to make a couple of minor modifications but other than that, things went smoothly. I put one of the shifter linkages in backwards and it hit the driveline in 5th gear, but that was an easy remedy. It looks completely stock. Too sweet, Jerry. Thyanks again. Definitely worth the little extra you charge to have the end result look as good as your kit makes my Brat look. -

Local shop did it for $130. It is much better than trying to weld in the carrier bearing on the ea82 2 piece shaft. -
And save the beer until you're done. It'll go much smoother, and you won't drop the car on your head.

I couldn't have stumped everyone on the board with this simple question, could I? It must be that everyone is busy with other things, like trying to figure out how to get even with Zap for his (really good) prank today. Hats off to you Eric. But I really could use the number if someone has it handy.

Not as good as Zap's joke. -
For me, it would be AIH (Alaska Industrial Hardware). I haven't checked out Lowes or Home Depot, but I would want to get hardened bolts.

Is there a specific amount of torque that I need to apply to the bolts of the cap on a rear differential for an ea81? If so, could you clue me in, please?
