    I've used the read diff to jack the back end up also.

    That's a 99 right? Not an 89? Even an 89 is worth more than $700 even if you have to put an extra $1200. OF COURSE, go for it.

    Try a continuity tester on both spades and see if there is electricity flowing to both points.

    Not a bad axiom. Then block it with a piece of wood or a cinder block, or a jack stand....

    A cheap hydrolic jack from Schuck's or wherever can be had for less than $20, and will come in handy the next time you have a flat tire. It should be able to lift your car up enough to reach the plug no matter what your size is.

    Frankly, I thought the movie was a scream as it fairly portrayed many students I have seen and curently see in high school. The old notion that life imitates art is true here. Those who hated it mat have been too close to it to appreciate the comic genious of it. (P.S. Vote for Pedro.)

    First, go buy a decent repair manual. Plugs and wires are a good start. Look at Legacy777's website for good info on new gen fine tuning.

    83 Brat with 14' pugs and a 3" lift = 24 mpg - I live in AK so I only do highway driving. I hate Anchorage driving so I avoid it as much as possible.
