  1. Wait until you move and then link up with the East Coast Master - Moosens. He lives in nearby, scenic Conn. He is also very congenial and can walk you through the process if you buy him beer and coffee.
  2. Have a very similar issue in an auto tranny in my son's 91 legacy. Leaky valve. We just let it warm up and then there's no problem.
  3. I don't know what the exchange rate is, but they go for around $25 -$35 on ebay plus shipping.
  4. They are a ton of fun and you're right, it is fun to run past those big-assed vehicles.
  5. If you get an Ozzified lift, bring it down and I'll help you put it in. I've got all the tools and a heated garage. And if you pull off the 5spd transfer, let me know and I'll employ you to do the swap on mine.
  6. If you're not familiar with carb work, you're better off to just leave it on and get a can or two of Gum-out or some other carb cleaner and spray it through while it's running.
  7. I think Moosens has some bed trim, but he's missing the tailgate trim piece. I'll look for one if you need one. Why a 4/3 kit instead of a straight 3" kit? The back of a Brat can be raised a bit by adjusting the torsion bar in the back. If you need any parts, let me know. I'll see what I've got.
  8. Looks like a good Subaru get together with a bunch of good people.
  9. There is an excellent write up on this very process in the USRM. Check it out. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=37
  10. That looks like me coming down my driveway on a bad day.
  11. UPS usually hires for the X-mas season and they pay well. Check it out.
  12. Man, that's going to look great when you get a set of wheels and tires to really show what it's capable of. Nice job so far.
  13. Snowman had a thread about this about a year ago. Lots of good info. You might try a search and see what you uncover.
  14. Let's not forget "The Chairman of the Board" Frank Sinatra and also Deano. That's Amore.
  15. It sounds like a grounding problem to me. If only 3.5 volts are making it to the lamp, some volts are being drained off elsewhere. Check the grounds. I'm with Skip.
  16. Congrats on your car's longevity. It speaks highly of the maintainance it's received.
  17. Welcome to the board. You've got a real expert and a great guy nearby in Chef Tim if you ever get into trouble.
