  1. Congrats, Ed. Sorry I missed your day. I was down in Shawn's area this last weekend. I saw an 82 Brat with the seats in it and a 5spd (the ad said) for $1650. Who on the board lives in Ft. Collins with a Brat for sale?
  2. It depends on whom from you are ordering it.
  3. Looks like a new outlet for tube bumpers.
  4. Pardon my mathematical naivety, but wouldn't it be the same ratio? If, say there's a 10% difference in speed, wouldn't it equate to a 10% difference in mileage also? i.e. add 10% mileage.
  5. HBD, Mick. Don't feel too bad; I've got you by almost 11 years (and a bald spot to boot).
  6. And remind him of his other outstanding debts. He sems to forget quite frequently.
  7. Put the car in reverse, turn the ignition switch to on, and starrt pairing up wires.
  8. Is this the show where there will be door prizes for: must number of shows attended, farthest travel to attend, most consecutive number of shows attended,...?
  9. You pretty much diagnosed the problem yourself when you cite that 12 volts directly applied makes it work correctly. Wiring issue?
  10. And let me and Jibs know beforehand so we can ATTEMPT to get ahold of him to request a token payment for the hundreds of dollars he still owes both of us.
  11. I was just going to post that I was disappointed in the lack of April Fools' jokes this year, and got to thinking about your post. That was the only one I thought might be close. I was even going to make that caviat in my post, but since it happened prior to 4-1, I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Thanks for continuing the tradition.
  12. Air boat, or experimental aircraft are the usual adaptations.
  13. Rob, I'm too far away to take you up on the offer, but if there's anything I can do to help, just name it.
  14. Probably not. Wrong time of the year and I have to drive Ryan to Colorado in early August. We bought him a Mazda B3000 and Ellen isn't too hip on him making the drive alone. Construction season will be in full swing in June. I hate to miss out; maybe I'll be able to fly in for a couple of days. I'll have to see what time will allow. How about you?
  15. Yes, I am. I am also glad it went to a good home as I know I'll see it for many months to come (until you graduate and return to Haines). That may very well be faster than I did that leg of the trip when I brought the XT6 back from WA. It's not as fast as the first half of the trip, however.
