  1. A search on this will give the full spectrum that has been run through several times. I'd personally go with NGK.
  2. Welcome to the board. The info so far is pretty comprehensive. Look for a 2.2 l engine over a 2.5. More reliable.
  3. You'll be las than 10 min from Richie's shop. Go there, snoop around and see what he's got in hiding and report back. Good luck in your new locale.
  4. Stationary side glass is mounted in a rubbergasket that pulls in around a pinchweld or it is held in by butyl tape and urethane sealant, depending on make and model.
  5. If you have the rubber, make sure it is clean/ free of any debris before you attach the channel to the glass and be careful as you tap it into place (I'd recommend you lube the rubber up with silicone lubricant before you hammer it on. Or, is your new/replacement glass already attached to the channel? If so, it should just be a bolt-in operation. Again, test roll it several times to look for binding and adjustments.
  6. 3M makes a two part epoxy especially for that application. Dry fit the window a couple of times first, rolling it up and down to ensure proper alignment before you put the glue in.
  7. Also, be aware if lug nut concerns and center caps.
  8. I had the same thing. Did the flush with MMO, but it didn't work. Had to pull it apart to find a piece of plastic in one of the oil journals. Then it was finw. Good luck. I hope to see the pugs on Mon or so when I get back from hunting this weekend. Thanks again. I hope all works out for you.
  9. Welcome, and yes, this is a great board where you'll find a ton of info to help you with greater performance for your new soob.
  10. Thanks, Brian. I know Jon (Battle-Wagon_Medic) knows of one , but he won't break loose with the info.
  11. And to top that, Alaska Towimg and Wrecking (ATW), the biggest boneyard in the state, closed its doors, crushed all of their cars and sent them to Japan as scrap metal. So Junkie, where (which one) is the yard in Wasilla? It can't be Knik T&W; they don't have anything even in the 80's.
  12. Been missing your input and perspective, Moosey. Welcome back.
  13. WOW! With a title like tranny party and and invite to a tranny swap, I thought you were talking about something that may not be appropriate for this forum.
  14. I doubt that you've really sold your last subaru; you'll sell more. (it's in the blood)
  15. I'm a grumpy ols cuss, too, but you're very welcomed here.
  16. Welcome to the board. For helpful hints on how to pass inspections, do a search on passing emissions tests. EdRach has written numerous recipes to beat the system. Good stuff.
  17. Welcome fellow Greatlander. Don't shy away from a M&G as there are some great people here who can give you some invaluable tips and we are all non-judgemental (at least those I've met). Snowman would have the best insight into the best place for parts - locally. AAA-1 is not the place.
  18. Did the tooth fairy deliver it? Good to see you back. Did the surgery work out OK, or haven't you gone under the knife yet?
  19. Unless you are experienced at glass repair, take it to a glass shop and have them pump some flow-grade sealant into to affected side.
