  1. As in poker - go big, or stay home. If those are the rims, those tires are fine. If you're using different rims, go bigger.
  2. The most common conversion is to puegeout (sp) wheels which come in 14" and 15" options from mid 80's (I believe) 504's and 505's. Check the wheels page for styles and alloy or steel options. Good luck finding them. Then you mayhave to consider a lift to make them fit, depending on which tires you put on.
  3. Oh no! Not another test? Don't get the government involved or NCLB will take over.
  4. Tony, IMHO the 2.2 is the most bulletproof of all of your options. To put a turbo in, you'd have a bunch of mods and a lot of scrounging to find the various stuff to make it happen. The 2.5 is notorious for head gasketproblems, and the 2.0 is underpowered for your car. I've got two legacies w/2.2's and have had nothing but superior performance from both. Good luck with your situation.
  5. I did a little research last night on the info Paul included in an earlier post. The plow is made by Snowway. They're still in business and make a fine (albeit expensive) product. They make a 5'9' plow (and larger) that would fit a subbie. The name on the pump used to lift it is from a hydraulics manufacturing company with a faction in Rockford, IL. They're still in business, but it appears they have moved on to bigger and better things. Last winter I also looked into Blizzard plows, and they make a smaller one that will work on a subbie, too. Just some options, if you're interested.
  6. Ypur struts aren't loose at the top or bottom, are they?
  7. I just did the search under snowflake and see that both Turbone and xsnrg had some for sale in December and Novemberm respectively. You might see if they still have them.
  8. Welcome. Did you try a search for the same on this board? You might just find one. I know there was a couple of threads lately with different wheels for sale. Give it a try.
  9. PM Mcbrat. I believe he uses it in one of his higher mileage Brats with no problems.
  10. The Japaneese characters in the back of the owner's manual shuld be a big clue. If there were the words "mate, barby, or g'day" there might be room for argument.
  11. Richie, is that your 85 Brat in the background, or is that a new project car?
  12. As for decals, you might show them a full spectrum on subbie decals from some ad literature and see what they'd be capable of reproducing. There could be some money waiting to be thrown their way.
  13. Miles is claiming to be "Rael - imperial aerosal king.
  14. What are all of those cars doing there? Just background for the girls?
  15. Take your time - don't make a special trip. I don't need them until September when the snow flies again.
  16. Legacy 777 might be able to answer some questions as well as one of our Canadian board members (I don't recall his name).
  17. What are the chances of you picking up a set of 14" steel Pugs for me? I'll send the money up front for the wheels, shipping, and a couple of bucks for your time/gas.
  18. $100 to straighten a rim? What's a new one cost? I can buy new ones for $85 each.
