1990 Loyale No Power but good battery

Start at the + terminal, and follow the path, when you don't have power anymore that is your issue. Check the fuse box under the dash. There is a large draw burning fuses, so ultimately that will be your problem, for your sake I hope its a component and not the wiring harness. -
It's your vacuum solenoids for your 4wd system, IIRC don't recall the routing, but it might be on the sticker on your hood

Removing engine without hoist

I would imagine this question was answered when you were still in middle school, Bush was in office, and the 05 WRX was brand new Just sayin -
That's being generous, and optimistic, hopeful, and perhaps even delusional. I'm going to be swapping SPFI to my EA-81, I've done the EJ route, and it really is a night and day difference, but I'm trying to eek out some good fuel econ with the EA-81, and I think SPFI will do better on the 1.8 then MPFI will do with an EJ

Perhaps you should contribute to this board, instead of using it as free advertising. Not one of your posts has been in any forum other then vendor, and you can't even be bothered to donate some money to the forum for your free advertising space. You are here for no other reason then to make money, plain and simple, if you were actually passionate about Subaru's you might have taken the time to post somewhere else on this forum As you said, perhaps YOU should go to nasioc, I've been here for 10 years and you've been her for what, ten days? -
It's a drill weekend for me, I plan on getting my girlfriend to drive the Pinz up and taking my bike and the ferry from base to and from for a quick non AWOL experience. Save some mud for me

I can't imagine it's terribly efficient once the element is soaked in from the rain though -
At some point the additonal weight of gear becomes a liability. The drivetrains on these vehicles was not designed for extreme offroading and oversized tires, add to that 600 pounds of extra gear plus 3 friends and you are well outside the design parameters. You can prepare yourself so well that you end up needing the gear because you have it. Sure you could bring both a front and rear axle, but why not leave the rear at home and save the 15 pounds. The less you bring, the less you will break. Yes, bring something to help you survive, but your car doesn't care if it spends the night on the mountain or in your driveway.

Garage sales. It will take a lot of time, but if you have more time then money ( like most of us) spring cleaning will be in full force soon, and you'll be able to score some sweet deals. Best part is, if you find old craftsman, snap-on, Mac, Matco, whatever, they have lifetime warranties so if you pay a little for something broken/worn out you can get it replaced for free!! I hated garage saleing when I was younger, but I realized it was just the sales my mom went to, if you go to the more guy oriented ones there is some pretty neat stuff to be found. (silver for example, if it's real silver flatware you can do pretty well if you buy low)

The six demon bag? -
Jack the corner up and try to shake the tire, any motion is bad, the in/out will be wheel bearings, other motion could be ball joints.

I was 18 once and knew everything Then I got older On the ground is fine, set the parking brake and leave the car in gear.
-
If you're going, I'd better be there too, Polly may have to tow you out again Oh, and I'll bring some dry socks, just in case. :-p

I'm hoping to have something with both front and rear lockers, so I hope there is a mud pit.

15 Pugs tire shop would not mount them
NoahDL88 replied to SuperBrat's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Some of the 15 inch pugs are in-fact 390mm, so they are 15.3 inch wheels. -
With that offset, even without you'll probably have to do some cutting. Why not go 4 inch? it can't be much more expensive and will help a lot with the amount of trimming needed. With a 30 year old car the springs will make a big difference as to what works from car to car.

+1 on using a ATV/Motorcycle jack for a tranny jack, I've done a few clutches that way Should have gone with yellow, more torque :-p

Warranty!!! Get it to the dealer, get the complaint written down, that way if it does manifiest itself later, even after the warranty expires you will most likely be able to get it taken care of. Also, brand new vehicles should not be a pain, let them figure it out, have a cup of coffee, and see if you can upgrade to the WRX!!
