IIRC, people just don't lift sedans, the regular OBW yes, the SUS no. Sure every once in a while a lifted sedan pops up, but then there mostly old gen, and the new gen are even more rare. Don't really know what you're asking, yes they are the same as the same year OBW, the lift for the OBW will probably fit, I don't think anyone on the board has lifted a SUS specifically. There are lift springs from "king springs" there based in AU but i think that they have a US distributor. As far as liftkits, you'll have to look farther than tacoma/Seattle/olympia, its a great big world out there.

Although they are rare, they do surface every once in a while, but there is a dual carb manifold that was not available here, but sometimes can be found. I believe that SJR is developing one, which would be cool. There is a way that you can run the SPFI on the EA-81, just need to rewire it, and add the EA-81 timing gear to the EA-82 disty, but other than that it should work just as easy as on an EA82, and more power than a webber to boot.

How to keep rain out of your Snorkel
NoahDL88 replied to FlyB0y's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I just put a 90 degree bend on the end of mine, it's pointing down and has solved all my problems. When it was facing forward i had running problems even in light rain. -

Where in Wa? not a postman so i'm not down with the postal codes. Welcome to the board, and i'd caution that in the top right corner there is a search button, don't hesitate to use it, you'll probably find answers faster that way. Again, welcome, and what car do you have? -
Not on the same model though, and you can hardly call the outback struts a "lift" Page 1 of the owners manual "your new Subaru is designed as an "all road" car and extreme caution should be used........" Not to say they can't be offroaded either. As far as MPG, slow down 5 mph, you'll notice a great deal of increase in your MPG.

We had a whole bunch of the Hortons in Detroit, now that was a fix after a long night, get a 30 count case of slyders at White Castle, and then head over to tim's for desert. I swear my appetite was not, and is not drug induced. Any white castles in Seattle? I guess when you have wongleflute's you don't really need the castle anyway. I have not seen the commercial either, so if you find a link or happen to tape it for us, that would be uber cool.

If you want an EJ22, why not get a Legacy?
NoahDL88 replied to Monte's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I've build up my 88DL to where i want it, and when the motor started leaking too much oil for my tastes, i decided, why not get the best of both worlds? So now i have the best that the EA series has to offer, and the best that the EJ series has to offer, all in one neat package. -
I concur

As much a fan of throwing parts at a problem until its fixed, you may have to do some old fashioned diagnostic work. If the fuse is good, make sure that you are getting power to the fuse, and then follow the power wire to the switches, and make sure that you are getting power to the window motors. If you are, either the replacement switch is broken, your motor(s) are shot, or your grounds may be bad, among other things.

Your backfiring is probably your reed valves, or i guess it could be. If you do a search for "reed valves" you should be able to figure out if you think that they might be the problem.
-
It could be that the hose has just hardened, old hoses sometimes do that, which means you should replace it rather soon, or it may give out at a socially crippling time.

here we go agian...another subaru

You make this sound like its a bad thing, you're 18, as long as you pay most of your bills, and keep your parents happy enough to not kick you out, be proud of that new car, if only for its parts. You'll want the wiring harness too, if the recipient vehicle is not a turbo. -
Allied Armament Super Christmas Group buy
NoahDL88 replied to Shadyirishmen's topic in Products for your Subaru
Umm, that'd be neither the 2002 legacy is an EJ based platform This site should have what you need, if Shady dosn't make one for the EJ http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/skid.htm -
Oil in the intake is "normal" and by that i guess its so common nobody cares anymore, everyone's doing it!! You might try to change the PCV valve, with an OEM Subaru one, but if that dosn't work it's probably your valve seals, which unless you really are concerned, i wouldn't worry about it.

We mainly hear about putting the Legacy 2.2 in the vanagon, about the same power as the ER27, but not as neat as a flat 6, so if you got some pictures i'm sure i'm not the only one that would really like to see them.

The engine in your car is designed to run at 14.7:1 AFR, E85 has a stoic number of 6:1. As an ASE certified mechanic, and as an Engineer who's had classes on this very subject, i can say with some certainty that it would be in your best intrest to not be running E85 in your car. Find a friend that owns a vehicle that is capable of running E85, drain your tank in to his or hers and fill up with regular 87, in the long run it will be cheaper than buying a new engine, really. http://www.e85fuel.com/e85101/flexfuelvehicles.php Here is a list of vehicles that can run it, i'm sure at least one of your friends owns a car on that list, You'll notice that Subaru is not listed, and as they caution: Vehicle listing is below. Unfortunately, if your vehicle is not listed, your vehicle is NOT E85 compatible.
