  1. Good point! Should be no surprises. Plan for the worst right? Just did the timing belts, water pump thermostat etc. You are right on the money I think with all the other maintenance item. Added to my "to do" list. Will keep you all posted! Thanks!
  2. Sweet! I am new here too! I found PNW Subaru enthusiasts on Facebook, but they seem to be geared toward the new stuff. Any PDX area clubs that are more into the earlier stuff?
  3. I just picked up my first Subie a few weeks ago.. 1994 Loyale 4wd Wagon. 1.8L with 5 spd. 175 70 r13 tires Kinda disappointed in the fuel economy. Figured 25 mpg would be easy, but cant squeeze more than 21 out of her. What do you guys get out of your EA82's?
  4. Thanks for the info! I have a line on those same Pug style pug steel wheels. Hopefully I can get them for a good price.
  5. Painted the wheels black, and am kicking around painting the hood black as well.
  6. Aloha OlNick! Thanks I will work on that. TurboBrat, thanks for the tip on the place in Gaston, the link you sent me is exactly what I have been saving my $$ for!
  7. What size tires are you running? I am looking at the same 2" BOSS lift for my 1994
  8. Hey Guys, been a member for a while, but just got my account approved yesterday! Picked up my first Subie a couple weeks ago. 1994 Loyale 4wd EA82 Wagon. Spent a couple days giving her the royal treatment. Deep cleaning, and all new fluids etc. Water pump and thermostat, timing belts. Added a pair of Hella Rally 3000's and got a hold of Justin at Head Trauma Inc for the Roof top rack. Saving my pennies for the BOSS 2" lift and new wheels and tires. Looking at the 6 lug conversion and running 14"x7" wheels. What tire sizes should I be looking at? Should I run the 27 8.50 r 14 or look at something a bit smaller like a 195 75 14? Running the custom "whiffle rotted" exhaust for now , and will be looking into 2 1/4 with a magnaflow in the summertime. Trying to figure out how to post pics. Any info? Thanks for all your guys input, should be a fun new project!!
