  1. So I'm trying to put on different fenders tonight, didn't finish. The bumper is a real pain to get to! here she is with headlights out, runners out, plastic from wheel well out, wheel off, and all but 2 nuts off. I guess I need to remove the bumper to get the the last 2 nuts. here's what I think is the bumper bolts. I've been going at them for about 20 minutes and they won't budge! even tried a torque wrench although i don't want to struggle with it too much because it's just on a jack stand. They're in kinda a tough spot to get to. Any other way to get this fender off?
  2. Marcus just re-drilled mine yesterday and did a killer job. him drilling the pilot holes. all 6 drilled. Not using the 9/16'ths bit. the 9/16 will leave too much room and the stud would need to be welded. with the bit Marcus is using there is just enough room for the stud to fit snug. here's what it looked like on my car drilling the rear disks and the wheel fit perfectly! Marcus definitely takes his time and does a good job. We started around 9:30 and finished around 4:30.
  3. I get lots of questions about that. Personally, I like it. I think it makes it look angry. Some don't, some do. Haven't seen it done before, I like being different. Thanks though!
  4. Today we did some work. And by we I mean Marcus. I drove out to his work in Auburn and we parked the Sub in the hangar to begin the 6 lug re-drill. The day before we found an 85' GL in the junkyard which we got some studs and lug nuts off of. Here is the hub, with 2 studs knocked out. Testing the fit on the wheels. The hub didn't want to sit flush inside the lip of the wheel, but we sanded it down to fit in there nicely. Here is the hub getting the pilot holes drilled in. We used a 35/64 bit that we got from Tacoma Screw. Ran Marcus about $50 but he said it was well worth it. The bit held up well. Here is the 6 lug hub mounted on the car. Looks ready to rock and roll! test fit here's Marcus drilling the rears. again pilot holes. had to modify the stud tops a little bit to make them fit. pressing the studs into place with the hydro press. This is no lift with 14's and 27 tires. We had to do a bit of shaping of the fenders. It rubs a little here and there. still getting used to that. Marcus is on a 2" lift, 205x75x14 tires, and 14" pugs. We measured the width between the ground and the fender on both our cars. Marcus has me in height by about an inch. overall, great productive day. Lift kit coming soon.
  5. Here's a pic of her a few weeks ago at the Christmas Tree run. I've had this car for about a year now. Bought it stock, haven't done anything serious on it other than basic maintenance and snow tires.
  6. The lineup following marcus into the abyss on top of the world! behind jj421 as we trek along the trail! beautiful view erin had to lean way out the window to snap this pic of marcus and JJ. good thing she could grab on the roof basket, don't worry i went slow random picture of us having fun a couple of us at a scenic spot. you can see the other side of the trail where we came up across the valley in the opening of the trees. Marcus telling his lovely family how cool the car behind him is.
  7. We made it. (: was lots of fun and I finally got my tree home although my mom thinks its a little big. I would love to get together like that more often.
  8. Don't leave without us! Me and one other might be there round 930-945
  9. So there are 2 McDonalds in Enumclaw. Which one just for clarity? Option A) 110 Roosevelt Ave E Enumclaw (360) 825-4040 Option 40833 292nd Way SE Enumclaw (360) 825-3760
  10. Same thing is happening to my passenger side, i have to ask the passenger to close and open the door again and it usually works the 2nd time. I would love how to fix this before they stop all together. bump
  11. Do you think you could take a picture?
  12. Anyone know off the top of your head if the mounting rails for driver and passenger seats are the same on older and newer subis? I want wrx seats into my 94 Loyale.
  13. I have a 94 loyale wagon, and I'm thinking about buying some wax seats. Will wax seats need an adaptor? Or will they slide right in?
  14. Thanks! I had no idea they made those. I just ordered some!
  15. Yeah i have 4 stock flaps all around. If i end up finding a solution to the big mud flaps that i want i would sell them to you!
  16. Hey, I'm looking to get some fat mud flaps for my 94 Loyale. I want some pretty big flaps, but I don't want to pay the ridiculous 100~ for the rally armor flaps. Is there any way to make my own flaps out of some thin plastic or something? If you bought flaps where did you buy them from?
  17. My 1994 Subaru Loyale. 3 Inch lift in the mail! I will post updated pics when i get the lift on.
  18. I think you'll be happy to see these pictures. I went out, put it on with the two zipties, adjusted it a bit and then got the Canon out for some pictures. I like it a lot more than the original grill! thanks for the help jj421. I've seen you around the forums and you've been a big help to me. http://imgur.com/a/Az2It
  19. thanks for the picture help! One quick question. Near the top of the grill on the picture i have linked at the top of the post, the notches at the top of the grill where it flares up...did you cut that part off? It seems to be in the way/not fit with what's under the hood already
  20. A photo or two couldn't hurt. I just wanted a quick, easy way to get this on. Your way sounds pretty easy
  21. Hello, I own a 94 Loyale and I recently bought an older grill from a 85-86 GL. Here is a picture of what I received. Any ideas how to retrofit this in easily? If no one has any suggestions I'm going to drill holes in the top & bottom and screw them into the mounts that are on the car. Anyone have any experience?
  22. So basically any cheap coilover and a 2.5" sleeve will work?
  23. Not saying you are wrong, but just going off what the ebay page told me: http://imgur.com/2x6RhvQ
  24. Sorry I'm new to the whole suspension thing. So the ones i linked will not work. The ones you linked will work. Is it just a matter of having those sleeves?
