  1. So you're saying with stock struts It isn't do-able?
  2. Also, they don't have to be Raceland coils. If there are any you know that fit please let me know!
  3. I think it would be kind of fun to try some coilovers on my 1994 Subaru Loyale. Raceland makes some pretty affordable and good quality coils. Can anyone tell me if any of these options will fit on a 1994 Subaru Loyale? Options are: - Subaru Impreza GC Coilovers (1992-2001)- Subaru Impreza GC Ultimo Coilovers (1992-2001)The rest are for newer model cars but here is the link if you are interested: http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/subaru-coilover-kits.html Thanks!
  4. I really love your adjective use and the way you describe situations. You should write my autobiography or speak at my funeral or something...
  5. The only progress i've managed to make is knocking the pin out successfully. I'm waiting on getting a bigger crown royal bag and i might go with the crown royal shift boot. I've also been thinking about keeping the original shift knob in, just for the old car feel.
  6. Ok, I never thought of this. I might have to have this done just because of the sheer inconvenience of the pin knob. Although I do plan on keeping the knob the same as stock. I love the retro "AWD" button knob. The only thing I'd change it to is a flight simulator joystick and wire the AWD switch to one of the buttons on the joystick. Just a fun little idea I thought up!
  7. My Dad just got home, He said he has some punches in the garage that will work way better than the nail I tried. Looking forward to getting that darn thing off tomorrow. Thanks for the help!
  8. Great idea. I just put some knock er' loose spray inside the end of the hole that is accessible to me at this point. I will try a drill later when I have a pin that could replace that.
  9. So I don't know if you can tell but I got out there with nails and a mallet and started whacking away. I tried one side, nail bent a bit and got stuck. So I tried the other side, nail bent more, and got stuck. I managed to pull one out with a set of pliers and a lot of patience, but the other nail broke off and just the smallest bit is sticking out of one side....This pin will not move. Any more advice? (Picture is from when I double failed with 2 nails stuck in there.)
  10. A piece of wood? Like to brace the stick against what? drivers seat?
  11. Yeah I see the pin. I damaged one of my screw drivers trying to hammer it out...It doesn't want to budge.
  12. Hey all, Small problem with my Subaru Loyale (1994) shift knob. I can't seem to get this thing off! Any help? Looks like this
  13. Here is an album with 3 pictures of my leak. Just noticed this today, thinking it's been going on for awhile. (http://imgur.com/a/UPEcy) Check that out and let me know what you think. I'm thinking a head gasket might be cracked? EA82 Engine in a 94 Loyale
  14. Ok thanks! I've been hearing 2" but I'm not sure
  15. I have a 94 Loyale wagon and I have a quick question about the exhaust. How wide is the pipe? I plan on buying a cherry bomb. How wide should i buy?
  16. My Dad is trying to convince me it is bad for the engine and I shouldn't do it. What can I do to convince him otherwise?
  17. 95 leggy with a 2.5? Sounds pretty snazzy! I passed an old Loyale sedan today on the road so i hope that's yours and still running!
  18. Hey USMB, Quick question. I don't really dig the stock sound of my 94 Loyale wagon. I think it would be super sweet to at least get a little rumble going. A friend of mine had a GL wagon and just took the muffler off and apparently it sounded pretty good. What do you think? As someone with pretty short budget, this seems like a solid option to get a nice meaty rumble. The only concern I have is it being too loud? thoughts? experiences? videos?
  19. Lights were wired in! Here's what they look like. Currently saving up for some supertones to mount in there as well.
  20. So a relay just handles the power of the lights and battery? Acting like somewhat of a middle man?
  21. Hello, I have 2 offroad lights i picked up off a friend for free. The lights have 2 wires running out of each. White and black. I've researched a bit on how to wire these. Looks like a need a relay? Does my car already have one? or is that something I go out and buy? Any help on how to wire these would be awesome.
  22. Thanks for the information on the D/R! I will definitely post pictures once It's lifted
  23. I think getting my car lifted is higher on my priority list than a D/R swap. Although it does sound like it provides a nice advantage on the offroad side, I think I'll have to hold that off until after i get my car some clearance
  24. Ok, how pricey was that? As a 17 year old kid with a minimum wage job, money is my biggest issue.
