  1. axle party sounds good. I've got a few I just re-built but they are the reason i bought the remans. So i guesss they need to be rebuilt again? hit me up and i'm game to pack axles for a while.
  2. I put the new axles in and the ticking is still there! it grinds and ticks. What gives??
  3. I'm trying to fit my axles back together and I'm having the same issue!
  4. Yeah autozone has the lifetime warranty on the axles so im thinking if i buy 2 axles i can just warranty them out when something like a torn boot happens. might be a good call. i'd get my moneys worth
  5. Autozone offers the duralast gold and the remanufactured ones. which ones do you guys use?
  6. So this started about a month ago where my car would tick coming around a steep corner or at full lock. Now it is happening about every 10 seconds on the road it's a really bad grinding sound too. Doesn't sound like a bearing...
  7. per request. Took the Loyale to prom. Funny seeing the valet guy drive up in this.
  8. Could you post some pictures from inside that optional parts book of some parts some of us have maybe never seen? would be cool to see all the JDM options
  9. Jes, What we ended up doing was using a sort of adaptor plate. To where we removed the stock seat adjusters and bolted them to the adapter plate. Then bolted the Sparco rails to different mounting points on the adaptor plate. So I have maintained the stock seat mountings. I can post pics tomorrow when there is some sunlight.
  10. Big thanks to Kevin as he helped me install my Sparco bucket seat today.
  11. So I just picked up a Sparco bucket seat. Anyone have experience with making aftermarket seats work in GL/Loyales? I wanted it to be able to still slide back and forth...but if I have to bolt it to the ground I guess that's still an option.
  12. what https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhbmfNTNyro
  13. found some pretty old pictures of the car today. Thanks to my friend Justin for shooting these. He sure knows how to make a car look good.
  14. lol look at the dash. cant tell if blue or brown
  15. I'll get on it once I finish up this water pump leak/
  16. Should I worry about getting the dried mud up? I didn't know how to go about that. I didn't want to hose it down
  17. finally decided to get rid of my carpets. it was wet underneath on the passenger side which I haven't sunk in water (or so i thought). That might be where the smell I couldn't source was coming from. What's the material under the carpets and padding made of? on top of the metal? It's cracking in some spots and I peeled a bit off.
  18. Hopefully I don't get Mono again! car's been running pretty good aside from my water pump leak . Would love to join. I'll put it on the calendar.
  19. Its a wagon! There's no better feeling than passing a lifted truck in a family wagon on a trail. Also our rear diffs sit pretty high. We have lots of clearance, but not as much flex
  20. moral of the story is. you've got a great building block for a wheeler. just going to take time.
  21. So you cut the carpet into pieces to make it easy to put in and out? That seems like a cool idea. Does the trunk carpet connect to the carpet for the rest of the car? Marcus said It comes out in one piece. What's the easiest way to pull the carpet? It feels dry but when i put pressure on it I can feel the moisture.
  22. Yeah, I used the shop vac. Hopefully I got enough out. Haven't been down this morning, but i cracked the windows so hopefully it isnt too bad. It's been hot lately.
  23. Got wet today! went out with Doug and Kevin. Got stuck in this position. notice me in the back. lol. Broke the shop vac out. Was originally going to take the carpet out, but im going to try to keep that as long as possible.
