  1. Thank you everyone, I am hoping to start on the car soon, better photos will come. Legourde Nux: PM sent
  2. Waiting for answer from the Subaru dealer. If he will send it to me, I will buy one.
  3. Speedwagon: Do you know where to buy one of the seals? I would like to buy one and get it shipped to Antioch, TN 37013-2766
  4. This looks very nice, I like it. The size of the wheels is just perfect, and with a lift and the Nokian winter tires, this must be perfect for the winter roads of Finland
  5. I have 5 steel wheels for my Brat that I will get sandblasted and painted now. What is the correct white color code for the white steel wheels that some Subaru have? The company doing this job says they have many white colors to choose from. I do not know if they should be shiny bright white, or not so shiny and not so bright white Here in Norway we use RAL color code, I do not know if this is an international code, but hoping someone maybe can describe the original color for me, it would be great help.
  6. Here is my project car. I will bring the car home when the summer comes. Hoping to get some time and money to work on the car then.. It have been parked in the garage 10 ++ years. Have started the search for NOS parts, if you have something nice to my car, please contact me Sorry for crappy photos, but too much junk in the previous owners garage, you should have seen how it looked before we throw away a ton of junk....
  7. Thank you tdodge41 I bought it in January 2013. It has only one owner before me, 78 year old man. He always parked the car in the garage, and sold it to me since he did not use the car anymore. The car was "Tectyl" protected when it was new, it has saved the car from the rust. (Tectyl is a rust protection from Valvoline, maybe have other names for other countries) belacane: Thank you I do not know this for sure, but I belive it is manual like mine on the earlier models, and automatic on later models? I have a photo taken from internet of a later version here:
  8. If you dont find any new tires with raised white letter, you can buy a tire marker. Then you can buy new tires in the dimension you prefer. You can have them in different coulors like red, yellow and white, maybe more coulors Some links for an example: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/qcr-64-401/media/images http://www.summitracing.com/parts/shw-ht100
  9. Hello Bendecker, nice car! Maybe possible to use a caravan wind deflector from the 70`s/80`s mounted on a roof bar? Its easy on/of installing and road legal, you dont have to be afraid of parts falling of when cruising in your classic Subaru I can find some photos if you need, or else keep up the good work. Always nice to see creative people working, keep us updatet with photos?
  10. Those alloys really looks nice on your Brat! Can you tell us more about the lights on the roof, and post some more photos of your car...?
  11. Thank you for positive feedbacks on my Brat I75eya: Its like BratRod says a manual heat control valve. The adjustment is for sending air from outside of the car in to the air cleaner case in the summer, and preheated air in the winter to prevent carburettor icing.
  12. Thank you Some more photos of the car, the car will be washed when the summer comes.. Have not done anything to the car yet, just bought a new Varta 60 ah battery and new winter tires. Plans so far it trying to get a better driving seat, and an original roll bar.
  13. Hello, this is my 1986 Subaru Brat. 93.000 Km/one owner before me since new. 1800 E81 Engine 4 speed manual with hi/low Electrical mirrors "Funroof" 13 X 5 steel wheels 175/70-13 Nokian Hakkepelitta 7 winter tyres. Photos of interior/engine will come later.
  14. Hei, jeg så i profilen din at du er fra Norge. Jeg lurte på om du tilfeldigvis vet om en subaru pickup tilsalgs?
