  2. its not coming from the engine and its been raining here so i hsvent been able to mess with anything i will let yall know if it quits when i rip the heat shield out
  3. haha found acorns in mine when i got it also smells like a rat died in the air vents
  4. when my car is idling i hear a tapping that sounds like its coming for my cat
  5. i cant just take the compressor off and leave the bracket?
  6. ok another question if i was to take the ac completely off would i need a different water pump?
  7. ??? nobody ever had to replace a water pump my car is still running its my daily driver i cant take it apart to get the numbers and wait 3 days for the part to come in

  9. looking to buy a water pump and all this stuff about hub height? whats it mean anyone just got a part number?
  10. i understand everyone has theres capped off some way or another. what im getting at is why? when it was venting with the old air box? my haynes manual says the avs feeds in clean air and vents bad now theyre both closed off so whats the vent? the driver side crank case to the pvc valve?
  11. what do you mean by dual caps?? i dont want to put breathers on em where they come directly out i want to run some pipe straight up and put the breathers on the end of the pipe where they are sticking up i capped mine off im assuming they shouldn't be because they seem like they are vents to me
  12. that charcoal filter and pipe run to the bottom of the crank case and ran into the old air box
  13. i have the driver side vent pipe on top of the valve cover ran to the pcv valve and the pass side to the carb im talking about the ones on the bottom the ones we discussed in my other post
  14. i have been thinking since i done my weber swap about the baffels and hose to the anti suction valve that i capped off. how about crank case vent filters anyone ever considered/tried i know those hoses ran to the old air box
  15. yeah mine was timed at 20 also when i got it with the hitachi on it but i turned down to 8 think 20 is a good idea on a car with 120k miles?
  16. did any of yall advance the timing after the weber swap and if so to what?
  17. id closely inspect the hub since you replaced the axles when i got mine it would pop and click every once and a while then i drove 300 constant miles and it got worse and constant upon further inspection i found this
  18. happens to me at certain pumps also and with different cars not just my roo some pumps put out more pressure
  19. i left my covers off you just dont need to run over anything like bags or anything that can get sucked in the belt an on the tensioner if its loose check the spring
  20. car tends to stall when i make a hard turn im guessing the float is off anytips on adjusting it
  21. it was a long day i just capped em at the top for the time being this is my daily driver i worked on it saturday and sunday put new timing belts on it and sunday i just didnt feel like pulling more stuff off had to be at work
