  1. Make sure no codes... then check linkage ajustment... ie do you brake lights turn on?... whe reverse enguaged as the sensor does sonetimes control the lights... do you hear or feel any load on the trans... and when you say inside did you open it?? ... may I ask why you opened a presumably good auto trans? And yur posted in the wrong section.
  2. Got a wrecking yard bushing cuz I priced it at the dealer and they wanted like 160 buck$!!! Gonna do that tomorrow and try to get a memory wire ran on the ej harness... mornings can be interesting with a retarded ecu. This on top of yard work... never have a moment to relax.
  3. Ill be there hopefully... I hope there is snow!... I'm not even gonna check the weather...just gonna hope
  4. I'm game but can't stay till Sunday... ima go clean my car out...maybe.. and get some road food
  5. Wish I could go... my father was air lifted to wanatchee icu on Tuesday.. he's still in a coma and I ain't leaving him ... besides I blew a head gasket somewhere between moses lake and wanatchee but I caught it in time waited to cool. Topped it off and got to the htal... Props to twitch for giving me courage for a liquid fix ... used blue devil hg fix and now seems to be working better than ever thanks twitch!!! No mpre over heating that I'm aware of...(no temp p guage ) but I know the car pretty well so we will see how ot takes snoqualmie and blewotpass on the way home to hilltop
  6. What part of pr... my pops grew up in san juan area kinda... and my great grand mother still lives in the west end... good to see a member out on the island ... welcome
  7. we could always take a nice drive through yelm using pacific... i could be quite a spectacle for yelm residents to see a group of subies running through town plus it dosent risk getting all jammed up and sitting in the heat... it my town!!!! hook spanaway loop then pac ave to roy y and straight through to lacey then back on i5... traffic diverted!!!! but if we stick to leaving at 1:30 honestly i pretty sure we should just miss gridlock and fly right on by... do we even really have a head count on here or what? who is all planning to make it im curious to have a count... did i miss it or not? and not to start crap but can we not call it a caravan????... i like the term convoy or something... caravan makes it just sound like a bunch of minivans...right?... no offense mr loyal
  8. I can help people with some authentic bullet holes if they want them... I've got a del sol I cut up to take to scrap with my parts sedan (rip)... ill post a pic for advertisment... you could come up with somecool stories about them!!!
  9. I think crispy cream area at the mall is best as everyone seems to do craigslist meets there... and the donuts kick a$$!!!
  10. I'm really wanting to caravan with the guys heading south... I'm live in hilltop in tacoma and also have friend that ownes a loyal and definetly wants to make it... hit me up and let me know where to meet up... ill be there.
  11. got my parts car cut up as i seem to have lost the title... so i figured no need for a title if the pile of metal isnt really a car anymore but just mere fragments...right?... blistered hands and shards of glass in my face... i had a blast... wish i had a torch to do it! anyways was driving like a madman as usual and i jumped the wagon while going into the parking lot at work... and i dont mean like "weeeeeeee"... what mean is holy $hi#!!!! son of a b#$ch... im gonna roll it!!! kind of jumped it, so this all ended in sway bar bushings shearing from the car, a dog leg rear pass wheel and a front end alignment. it hurt.. but back on the road and now it drives even better after my pocket magically emptied at leshwab....
  12. where did you find those shocks? and did they just bolt up... it looks as iff it just bolted up to the stock mounting brackets... that the way to get true flex out of a subi!!... very nice combo... and i dont know ya but im happy you noticed the leak fast and got the family back home... happy fathers day... a little late!
  13. Weird hesitation issue... like tye engine is starving for fuel... found a forgotten pcv line after an iacv swap on the rh cam cover... oops... but I think I got some water in it as was cleaning the engine and didn't seem to notice it... and I'm hoping its not much so ima drain the oil and if there is water... I'm changing it if not then its going right back in...
  14. I second that... it needs to see a dealer shop and what he said!
  15. So still daily driving the wagon... and I've worked out a few more bugs... high idle fixed by turning the adjustment on the top of the iac valve and fixed the hard starting issue... coolent temp sensor was unplugged...my bad... Both front axel inner boots are already blown... and I'm thinking the weird noise in my front end is either cvs or bearing all of which need to be done now anyways... my car is almost as high maintainance as the girl but atleast it dosent talk back...lol
  16. New duralasts boots are seperating already...its only been a month of daily driving... very frusterating.. I'm gonna have to drop the k member an inch to relive a little stress... I'm not gonna waste my time every month replacin an axel cause the boots are garbage and deal with a little stress... ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!...
  17. Broken but still functional... same issue in the wagon... broke off at the mounting points driver door master switch and rear driver window switch... good thing I have spares to make better and faster and stronger... ill be sure to bacon grease them up befor instalation.. ... might just make my own braket and toughen them up!
  18. This is my first time trying duralast gold "new" intead of the remans I've been getting and going through... they seem higher quality...as the cv joints felt tighter and smoother than the remans and for some weird reason they were less expensive. I guess ill see how durable they are after running them with a lift for a little while... Just looked under my old parts car and my wagon... bothe have the "green" colored axels so I'm guessing origional rear sets on both... boots were blown on the parts car but not the wagon and the parts car dosent seem to have any play at either joint so that means that both sets have over 250k on them... but I'm only getting mabey 15k on a set of remans...cuz I've changed them every 2 years or so.... this is crazy that companies coul put out crap axels and be willing warrenty it fo the life of a subaru... did they not look up how long these things last!? Cuz they are losing money in the long run I think... just for giggles to put it out there I've paid 100bucks for 6 axels so far for crap axels I do know that the lift will hurt the axels and shorten the clock for them a little bit but it is getting old changing them.
  19. Um duralast gold I think... I kept blowing and going through remans while the car was bone stock!... went and bought new ones just befor the lift... not many miles yet... but I will see
