Bought a cheap rump roast reese roof rack from walmart... not sure if I'm gonna return it and just make my own. Its loud and creates a considerable amount of down force almost impossible to close the sun roof at freeway speed!! -
Fresh lift on the wagon... 2in sjr lift w/205 75 r14 on 14 in pug steelies hankook winter I pike no pics can't seem to upload... rubs only in reverse at half lock on a bolt for the inner fender and a very small amount of triming to inner forward most front fender.

Got a parts list for the wrecking yard this weekend... o2 sensors, iacv, coil and a few othe thing I can get cheap... this loss of power is a little irritating when trying to get up to freeway speed... just bogs and surges till over 3500rpm What I don't get is why the plugs crapped out... this may be dumd to compare apples with oranges but my 66bettle ran a set of bosh plats in a 2230 stroker ran great till I sold the car had over 10k on those... also used autolite plats in my lt1 camaro and no issues either... but I dropped a set of autolite plats in mt ea82t and the car would nt even run properly... now a set in a ej22 and those are crap.... I want to know why this is... what is the diferance... the parts people at autozone are saying its an upgrade for economy and that they last longer... is this just the nature of the subi.. cause I've never even tried plats in any other subi I've owned besides my wagon... Someone has to know why this is... and I wanna know who is full of crap or just misinformed on this topic. Btw I ran ngk r coppers in my ea82t for 2 years never a problem...

Pulled the autolite plats of the car yesterday at the emd of the day and for some reason they were completly worn out so I swapped in some brand new ngk r coppers... but I've still got a hesitation and/or loss of power...and horrible fuel consumption... but it does idle a little lower around 1700rpm with the ngk and no more weird surges in rpm...

Have a 91 legacy ej22na in my gl10... I wanted to find out if platinum plugs were bad fr tue early ej22s... from what I've heard..plats are better... lemme know... I have a set in mine and its hesitating... have a fuel filter on order... still running the one I got with the car and original engine still... thinking mabey that's an issue... I see it all the time amd hense I forget about out on this car... but someone help woth the spark plug dillema thanks.

This has been rough week of wiring and working oit bug in the ej swap lots of bad fuses and an irritating at best high idle ussue but Got the paint on... I decided to shoot it with dark forest green aircraft paint... it turned out alright and the car has a lot of dents in it buts more of a 20/20 paint job anyways and that was all I wanted... now it looks like some pavement pounder and I can't have that so trail pics and mud next weekend. -

I actually tend to agree with mr loyal... as a currently have the same issue both driver rear driver window bottons are broke mabey it just broke loose from being jumped but hey I've got some bacon grease right by the stpve mabey that will shine and protect and restore those swithes to new... best of luck... but I'm sure that switch could be fixed with jbweld siper glue and spme duct tape

86 gl10 ft4wd is now a dignified ej22swap daily... runs good with a couple bigs to work out( high idle) that are simple fixes.. it recived a full tune up and oil change. Installed an sjr 2in lift kit and thew on some 14in pugs with 205 75 r14 hankook winter I pikes full set this past Monday I'm kinda diggin the fulltime 4wd trans since the weather has been nothing but downpour since I started driving the old subi. So still not sure if I want to swap in the 5mt dr trans and diff I have in the garage. And in hopes of the rain stopping I bought wiper blades cuz everytime I do it never rains again but mission failed.
