People running king springs... Powdercoat issue
92loyale59 replied to Fairtax4me's topic in Off Road
Yes almost all the king springs i have installed have those marks. Not a big deal . if you rally hard enough you will make more. The springs will probably out last alot of the subarus them selfs imo -

I need a set of the tail light guards for my wagon. Im almost done building it and these would save me having to replace taillights so often -
Try raptor liner . I just sprayed the whole inside of my wagon and goona do the outside dark forest green . The raptor liner goes on very easy and is very very strong
-
Yes these wagons are the best in the snow even stock . Just wait till its higher

how to fix ripped out lift blocks
92loyale59 replied to 92loyale59's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Thanks alot . Sadly my phone doesnt have a front camera or am near the car till tomorrow -
So i ripped out the passenger lift blocks on my loyale. Thay are 4 inch blocks aandthe two that tore out were the transmission and radius rod bracket blocks. They stayed bolted to the body but the bolt inside the body tore out . Does any one have any good pictures of how this can be fixed . I have a good idea but want to do it right so it may be stronger. I will be connecting the blocks after the problem is fixed. Thanks for any help . Pic wont upload... i will keep trying through

They seem to have a good compound that will last . I havr only had them since christmas eve but they are perform great . I have always like bfg also its just the price is to high for my build ha

I never really figured out why the transmission kept blowing up but I've been running the same one for about 5,000 miles now and its fine.yes its a stock deranged transmission Fournier at 2 and I'm running in eJ 22 in it.haven't got to post anything about my cars lately even though I've done a lot like a bigger lift bigger tires in Oracle bumpers I just can't seem to get pictures to upload so I don't see the point of posting if I can't take good pictures

a very cheap alternative are Kenda klevers they are a similar design of the Toyo Mud Terrains which I am NOT a fan of but I bought them for my car for 450 bucks mounted and balanced with new lug nuts and I am very happy with them and I wheel my car pretty hard and they do th job . They are aewsome in the snow also.I also almost bought the BFG km2's but I decided to save some money the design of the cam 2 is a lot better but they both work really good for a lifted Subaru

redrilling ea82 flywheel for ej swap questions
92loyale59 replied to joe5's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
you can take the ring that goes around the FlexPay plate on an EJ motor and put it on the EA flywheel with the bearing and it also that'll hold it as a stencil for you to cut out and then you just use a dremel or something to drill it out -

thanks crazyeights. yes i have checked all lift blocks and bolts to make sure they are tight . i have my car on the lift all the time so i make sire its all tight . the tranny mounts are new they just suck. i will try bending them together like you suggested.i abuse my rig pretty bad so i just want to make it more solid . im running 235/75/r15 and am putting 31 on
-
i disnt exactly mean stiffin the car more just the transmission and engine . i noticed when i put the group n mounts in my car lifted up in the front way less so i figured tranny mounts would help also also when i let off the gas my shift linkage algong with everything else moves forward a lot
-
has anyone done anything to beef these mounts up ? or relaced them with solid mounts ? i have group n engine mounts and wanted to stiffen up the car some more . car is a 92 loyale with ej swap
-
im really liking those seats wish i had those . i have 03 wrx bugeye seats in my loyale and they match very nice also
-
wow. 500 . if you dont say yes your crazy
-
I dont wheel with these guys cause im in oregon but when i do need to air down i run about 20 psi without having a problem driving back . I am only about 20 miles from trials though
