so i haave a 92 loyale that is lifted two inchs and the engine and tranny x members along with the radius rods are spaced 1.5 inchs . i was wondering if i got king springs with 1.25 lift would the change the angle of my axle?. like would my axles then be streching 1.75 inch off stock?. Also any experience with king springs and how they ride would be apprecited. thanks for the help

Hooking up a power amp
92loyale59 replied to the sucker king's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
i usually use 8 gauge wire for the power and the ground for lower watt systems and i run the power directly to the battery . put a inline fuse on the power wire within a foot or so of the battery. if you wondering what sized wire to run the speakers of off im pretty sure you wont find a huge difference no matter what size. i always use 12 gauge speaker wire but since thats not that power full of a amp it wont matter much. make sure when you run the wires inside the car to run the power down one side and th RCA cables and remote wire down the other. -
hah i got it all for dirt cheapppp and just lightly used. but yeah still cost more than my 200 dollar car alltogther. i think by 50 bucks or so

i have had 27x8.5r14 grabbers and i just got 195 70/r14 coopers. the coopers are far far far better for daily driving . . . and getting sideways in snow/ mud/ anything . i have yet to get stuck with them but i dont even dare go into the mud pits that i go threw with my generals. the generals i have are studded though. they are over kill unless your wheeling threw lots of snow or mud. and my car only powers the generals half as easlily .

well i choose to keep my swat bar after removing it from my 2 inch lifted loyale. when rallying i found it to be way unpredictable with out sway bars . i went and got a XT6 sway bar for the front . it is almost twice as thick . and i made a strut tower bar also . its my daily driver so around the street it stays way more level with not much body roll at all. off road in my opinion you have to over compensate far too much with out them. But for stricly wheeling i would probably ditch them

okay so i have been trying to figure out a way to run the power and ground wires from my lights on my roof basket to the hood or inside of my car in any way . i was thinking about running it down the gutters to the hood but i need a better idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated

im with him. easiest way would be a used intake manifold. make sure that the bolts arent screwed up on the new one you get before you but it -
Members 1,189 posts priest lake, Idaho Posted Today, 11:43 AM find out what your misisng, buy a cheap spark tester and when it dies plug the spark tester in and see if it has spark. if there is no spark it would most likely be the electronic module in the distributor or a coil, if it has spark then it is a fuel related problem and would most likely be a b i would do that . if you dont go by a spark tester you can unplug the spakplug wire form the coil then take 1 spark plug out and put it in the spark plug wire then ground the plug on a bolt. have some one crank the the engine over and while they are look at the tip of the plug to see if there is spark. if there is no spark then i would still asume its the dizzy . i cant imagine a fuel pump would last so long if it was on its way out.
