300 and i will pay for shipping and if you can send it asap i would have enough lift to make it to the walker run myself haha -
does the snorkel affect your power in anyway ? im wanting to make one for my ej swapped loyale and just dont know how it will affect its power

i have the grabbers . they are awesome in the snow and dirt but in deep swampy mud you dont move very fast . they still get you to where your going but not a mud tire. i wouldnt run the big horns daily driving unless you constantly stop by a mud pit and have a need for them . just my opinion .

wrx seats in a loyale
92loyale59 replied to 92loyale59's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
well im 6 foot so i guess i will be losing all my head room . does anybody have picture of them installed (front and rear ) and maybe of them working on getting the stock rails on . i am more of a visual learner so pictures would help alot -
so i searched but couldnt find what im looking for. has anyone put wrx seats into a loyale and what modifications need to be done to make it work. my stock seats are in rough shape and i just picked up the front two seats and the rear seat from a wrx. any help is appreciated . thanks

i only have a two inch lift but i did still need to extend the 4wd lever . i think about 3/4 of a inch but im not sure. and i think i could have gone a bit more but it still engages nicely

so i have been trying to come up with a good way to make a roll bar or cage inside my 92 loyale . i of course am open to a exo cage but i feel like the cost would be higher . i was hoping somebody has some photos of a set up like this or good pointers on where to mount the tubing and ect. Thanks

no worries . i was wondering why you didn't just make the diff drop but that makes complete sense now . i would have wanted the one with the nice shape also . dont care to much his his logo but still . glad it worked though . did you have to space the carrier bearing on the driveline down at all ?
-
who made the rear diff drop plate that you are using ?
-
yup same place . its in Gaston OR . he also has a add on craigslist with his number. when i was working down town last summer on a construction sit some worker from a different building started talking to me about my subi and said he had a friend with over 50 subarus in a yard . thats where i originally got his number.
-
I have been there and his other yard . really nice guy. i got my rear LSD diff from him . it was out of a loyale turbo that was crashed in the 90's and it only had 54k on it . got i about half a year ago. Also picked up the neutral switch that mounts above the clutch pedal . that way when i did my EJ swap it could have that neutral signal.
-
not sure but you may have to extend your shifter linkage also . i did even on my 2 inch lift only after i put the d/r tranny into it

today i wired in some PIAA 400hz and 600hx horns that i got of the list for 20 buck and i also wired some PIAA 1400x lights for reverse lights . i mounted them on either side of the licenses plate and ran the wires threw a hole i drilled in the top of the licenses plate light . they came out great and are extremely bright . they are a great combo with my CREE l.e.d lights that i have in thee stock reverse light spots. i also got those PIAA lights brand new off the list for 50 bucks.I will probably post pic's here or on my build page under my 92 loyale build
