How about race fuel and a BIG coil and hot plugs (accel yellow coil 65$) i think he was just looking for more toque at idle or just above Sorry forgot he has 2.2 will need to get an ACCEL super coil for a ~98 dodge neon Some pics of stock coils side by side but you would want accel part # 140027 -

It cause a fuller burn of the gasoline and adds torque Example in my festiva ide hafta down shift from 5 to 4 less than 1/2 way up hwy18 after installing i never had to down shift up 18 hill at all -

Hmmm well ive seen 40% better mileage the 300% they were looking for no but it did and dose work for me. -

Up date as distraction gets closer to being done and the deal on the ring and pinion has fallen though im going to build it mid-engine 2wd ej and drive it! Better than waiting on big$$$ parts. That and ive never had a true mid-engine rail.

Smaller tires? I have ran 2.3 fords in 3 built off road toys i always end up buying adjustable cam pully to adjust torque range. Maybe hho? Or race fuel? I like the 2.5 fly wheel idea cant hurt to try. Make a crank pully thats 100lb? In my old pinto i got a torque converter from a v6 car 2300stall to 2800 stall may hold true for soob too? -

I would drill & tap a 16mm bolt cut head off insert a stud. -
