On the wire diagram, it says the speed wire is yellow/red strip, on the round black multi terminal, if you would like I can post the wire diagram. ( I am guessing it's the black multi terminal, cause it's the only yellow/red wire.

Um.. Here is the link. http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/steel-wheels/peugeot/

Anyone know if any of these wheels can be modded a little to work in my brat, don't really understand their measuring diagram in the rim pages.

I think I posted this in the wrong area and 3 times, so I'm reporting here.. Mostly I want to check to see if I'm doing my swap right, and I need some clarification on a few wires, I know this might be a bit redundant but I haven't had any luck finding it online.. So.. I followed numbchux's guide the best I could, this is what I have.. 86 subaru brat, ej22 engine and keeping the brat manual transmission, harness was done by SJR. Also got a complete wire diagram from a vender online. Ok, I have the speed, tach, oil pressure, coolant temp, going to the dash display, I have the "hot at all times" going to the battery with a 15 amp fuse on it. Now the things I don't understand, 1. Starter wire, the ecu has a 18 gauge, and the starter wire from the brat side is a 10, is it ok to splice them together? 2. I can't find the check engine light wire, the wire diagram says its blue/red, with a black/white (ground?) But I can't find a blue/red wire on either of the round plug terminals going to the display. 3.i have a few wires labeled "hot fused" should I also have these on the wire coming from the battery, is the fuse size the same? 4. One for "hot run and start" I just don't know where to put this... I think I have a handle on everything else, I didn't dismantle the car, but bought it in boxes, unlabeled and unorganized, so guessing where parts go, and having parts that I have no idea where they came from has been a challenge, but I thing this Brat is getting close to being driven.

I had a 78 dl wagon in the mid 90s, 4 bald tiers, in one of the worst snow storms in 20 years. The only cars on the road were me and the cops. I drove fine without any problems. But was almost hit by several cops. Which would of been back cause I was homeless with no insurance, I loved my "boos of doom".

No, must be user error...

I was looking thru the web on a unrelated topic, and saw someone posting that 79 to 84 was a ea1, and 85 and up was a ea2. It seems cars more compatible with mine are later, or 85 and up, so how is mine a ea1? Also in my specs books, they tend to split between 84 and earlier , or 85 and later. So... Ea2 then?

Good idea
