sorry about the wait, i use Crome and for the longest time this forum wasnt working with crome. it bolts up but i hate these EA82 engines, I want to find the man who designed it and i want to violate him. What exactly did you do to get it that low?

my GL-10 turbo does 0-60 in about 2 days in AWD but in 2wd id give it 20+ seconds. It took me half of the song Dangerzone to break 100mph.

Another way to fix it is, call The Doctor's phone number, have him take you back in time in the TARDIS to when you broke the bolt. Now here is the tricky part, you have to stop yourself from drilling through the head without you seeing yourself, I'd recommend an ape suit or getting The Doctor to do it. Then go forward in time and this thread wont even exist cuz it wouldnt be a problem! -
Does anyone have the measurements of the engine bay in a GL/Loyale? I'd do it myself but its currently -3 (windchill -23) and falling. Im particularily interested in the vertical size. MODS can you change the title to say measurements instead of diameters, It was a typo.

^^ I'm coming from Honda which is the same as VW in that sense. With Subaru though, They're very interchangable. Everything works together and bolts up more or less with subarus. But the 80s was full of auto makers who were full of trying computer stuff for the first time so it was a little goofy. Basically my only problem is they had a MPFI, DPFI, and Carbed fueling system available for this car which was goofy. and its just not as well documented as a Honda. -

Good lord Subaru just kind of did whatever when they made this engine. its like 20 people in totally different departments made it and never talked to each other at any point. -

Flipping the rear mount with a Big effing hammer? how? I used coilovers off a CRX so I dont need to cut, mine are already about 8" tall, including the last .25" on the sleeve. Taking out the sleeve will net me another 1.25" drop, what all do you got for your set up? -

Yeah, my CRX coilover springs are less than half the height of a stock one. -
So I'm in the process of doing a Shakotan build on my GL-10, Its 4WD and the lowest I've been able to get it so far is about an inch lower than my CRX's stock ride height. I feel like I'm fighting Goliath here trying to get this down, does anyone have documentation of a 4WD Loyale or GL slammed? I've personally seen it on a FWD one, it was scraping the frame, but never on a 4WD so far. My setup currently is: XT front struts stock wagon springs Stock struts in back with CRX coilover sleeves in back all the way down. I have a pic of where it sits now. What am I doing wrong? lol I got a winter and a blown head gasket so I got time to sort this stance out. I also have some NB Miata rear struts I can pop in but need to get another set of coilover sleeves that will fit on them.

Yeah I was wondering if the fueling system was any different. I know subaru did a really half assed job turbo charging this car I just dont know the extent to which they went to with their laziness with it. -
How much of a pain in the butt is it to swap a EA82T to be nonturbo, do you have to mess with wiring? Cuz if thats the case ill just EJ swap it. I'm trying to keep costs down in attempts to still make a profit off of this car.

first off F#ck this godd##ned EA82T POS engine, I want to find the person responsible for this and violate them. now that i have that off my chest, i cant find a tutorial on how to remove the radiator out of an EA82, looks pretty straight forward except for the space constraint with the mechanical fan in the way. How do i get around that? If anyone has a youtube video or a link to a thread, maybe im just retarded and missed it.
